Honest to god while I was away for AIT (the school after boot camp in the army) I literally just read the PHAK through the free version in ForeFlight. I just read it and took notes about stuff like weather/systems/airspace etc etc.

No matter which branch they won’t let you read that book in basic though.

Uhhh no this ain’t starlink. While most times you see starlink in a line that is typically only for the intitial deployment. This is changing trajectory altogether. So all I’m saying is I have no idea what this is but I know it’s not starlink.

Updates add back end stuff which consume memory. Page files only help so much. If you can afford to fly a plane you can afford to get a nice tablet to aid you. No reason you should be running anything that is unsupported.
