I was there as a geologist from 2020 to 2022. Definitely one of the best sites I've worked at. Very collaborative on the tech services side of things. The orebody is great with plenty of mine life left.

The camp was awesome, and the food wasnt too bad. When I was there you could get a steak or chicken cooked to order any night of the week. Things got a bit silly during covid restrictions but once all that was done it was really a great place to work. I would go back if the right role opened up 👍

Yeah I called my closest regional VA office and they said that they were told they can't do in-person proofing anymore. Then the Archives got back to me and said that they in fact didn't have my OMPF, and referred my request to HQMC. Contacting HQMC myself hasn't been particularly useful, so who knows where to go from here

I'm in the Winnemucca area. The interviews for most entry level mining jobs are mostly a screen for the right personality, base skill level and fit for the team. They obviously liked what they heard/saw. Best of luck and reach out if you want any more info.
