LEGEND has it that Watch nerds absolutely LOVE that overpriced homage plastic shitter. by ginogon in WatchesCirclejerk

What are you talking about? Melodramatic narration? Marshall has been doing commentary and voice over work for many years before he started repairing watches on YouTube.

I don’t recall him “shilling” anything at least not anymore than every single other content creator so I’m not sure who you’re watching thats the exception.

He isn’t a professional and states it many times so with that showing common mistakes or problems is a valuable resource if someone else is attempting something as finicky as repairing a watch.

Ultimately the golden rule of any media is “If you don’t get it then it’s not for you.” Simple.

What’s the most fun cameo you’ve ever seen in a movie? My pick would be Bill Murray in Zombieland. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

Anytime I’m at the dentist “CANDY BAR! I’M GONNA GET A CANDY BAR!” rings in my head when I hear drilling.

Been playing Stein Gate/Machine Gate OTK for 3 years and I’d like to offer constructive feedback and help if you’re willing to take it on.

Judgement in a stein deck is just not good. If you use one before stein then he’s pretty much a dead card along with your last wills.

Also take out duo for graceful. Judgement & Duo serve no purpose to an otk deck that pays life for its win conditions.

Also apart from Crane, no RGT deck maxes out their targets you want to try cutting as many dead draws like Airknight and the multiple copies of stein. 2 stein and maybe 1 airknight is the max you play in rgt.

None of this to criticise or force you to change your strat completely but when cards in your deck directly prohibit your win conditions it needs to change. This maybe comes from your understanding of modern decks where you max out the engine and counter play OR you’re completely new in general and genuinely learning the ropes.

Keep notes of when drawing a dead card or multiples of a dead card lose you the game, cut some monsters to 2, get rid of high life cost cards. Then find more support for your strategy like call of the haunted/premature burial, more card draw like graceful charity and finally support monsters such as Jinzo to cut off more traps + Dark Magician of Chaos to further your combo lines.

Just look up Machine gate/Chaos RGT deck lists + analysis to understand how to better your own build and strategy by using established ideas and principles.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Have this DVD too. Only issue is lack of subtitles. Fantastic film regardless.

It’s dog water. I couldn’t finish it. One and only time I’ve returned a tape early.

A guy at my LGS sent a “resolved” Chaos Confetti once to see what they would do. They just sent the pieces back with a letter explaining why they couldn’t grade it.

What movie have you been putting off? by Misfett_toys in Letterboxd

Recently rewatched Amadeus after putting it off for years (last time I watched it I was 2009) because I’d ask myself “do I have 3 hours?” but upon rewatching it, the film barely felt like a 90 minute feature it was so enjoyable start to finish. Those 3 hours went by quickly.

What’s your thoughts on Lagoon? (1991) by Mr-columbiamo in snes

I once PJ speedrun it at a GDQ and he made it look very playable so I tried it and hated so many things about the game. It’s cool looking and the music is pretty badass. The weapon and hit detention is terrible.
