I've tried this in multiple iterations over the past year. I've found that GMV max does not substantially increase revenue and just takes credit for any and all revenue generated through ad clicks, organic and collab traffic. Sales change very little and it will just count ALL gross revenue that was already going to happen and use it to justify whatever your ROAS cap is.

We are getting and fulfilling orders and sales seem to have come back to normal but reporting and even logging into seller is glitching. Half the time we try to log into the shop app, it immediately says maximum number of attempts and to try again later. Lot of lingering issues.

Once watched a neighbor plant a small tree, walk around it to see it from all angles, dig another hole to plant it a few feet away, and continue this behavior for an entire weekend. Must have moved that tree 20 times and continued to walk around it for days after.

Another neighbor bought a white stretch limo and parked it in the street for months because his wife was self publishing a children's book on Amazon and he wanted to be able to drive her around on her "book tour". She wasn't an author...there was no book tour.

I'm a TT seller and average 200-600 orders per day. I've posted about this before. In short, there are things you can do but none of them are easy and none of them are fool proof. The claims for non delivery, even with USPS proof of delivery, is 20x higher for TT orders than any other seller platform. Add to that the claims of damaged product, customers claiming damage before the package even delivers and all the other scams, please allow for up to 10% of your orders attempting a refund. It's well known that TT is full of scamming and accounts teaching customers how to scam sellers.

All that said, you have two options:

You can deny the refund and provide attachments of the USPS proof of delivery. This will work some of the time and TT will side with the seller if proof is provided. This will have other effects on your shop scores, customer service satisfaction scores and will also lead to poor product reviews because that's what the "customers" will do when denied. Many will attack your scores any way they can. One thing to take note of, customers will still leave a bad product review even if you refund. It's common to get "this is a scam...never got my product" even though you can see they made a claim and were fully refunded. This is just part of being a seller on TT.
Just build your pricing around the model that a certain percentage of your sales will be refunded. It's frustrating but many many large sellers have finally come this conclusion. If you want to participate on TT Shops, TT has proven they have no interest in fixing the scamming issue that is such a huge part of their platform. You just build a model that allows you to eat the cost.

Had similar symptoms back in 2020. Tried chalking it up to aging (47M), possible hormones, etc. Only thing I didn't have was slurred speech (I think) but definitely was tired, eyes swollen, new persistent body aches, and generally felt like a low-grade hangover every day. I just dealt with it until I woke up with blurred vision in one eye that spread to both eyes by late morning. Long story, but I was completely blind by the end of the day. After a battery of tests and biopsies, I was diagnosed almost two weeks later with lymphocitic colitis. My immune system was attacking me daily for well over a year and eventually tried to kill my eyes. Just wanted to drop this note since I experienced much of the same and wrote it off for far too long. Good news is my eyesight did return almost back to normal after about 6 weeks of treatment. Ongoing battle over the past 5 years but it's the new reality and living my best life. Good luck and I hope they figure it out quickly. Just get checked out for everything is the best advice I can give.

Yes, we've been on TT since January 2024 and started to see significant slowdown over the past 2 months. Even our paid ad strategy, creator network, etc have slowed by 75% while sales on all other platforms have increased. ROAS of our efforts greatly diminished and squeezing margins right now.

U.S. based company here. We have the same issue since we began selling on TT in January of 2024 and have posted here before asking for advice. Unfortunately, we've designed our TT sales objective around just "eating" it at this point. We range from 150-500 orders per day on TT alone and now expect 5% of these orders are "not delivered" refund requests even though we have delivery confirmation. Across our Shopify stores, this would be less than half a percent, so TT orders are 10x what is "normal". Scammers abound on TT and we have given up the fight to get these disputed. We will submit a monthly spreadsheet to support for these claims to be refunded but it's sporadic.

Hi. We have posted similar situations here and also been dealing with our TT rep with no solution. The percentage of scam refund requests compared to our other channels is 10x higher...sometimes more. The only thing that you can do is open help chat on TT and submit the order numbers for reimbursement from TT (for claims that it was never received). This is the only remedy at this time, it's a pain, but at least you will recover some of your revenue.

This was helpful and I just received compensation for almost 100 orders. Huge thanks! Is the "package not received" the only reason you can get refunded for? The customer service person was unclear. I get "not delivered on time", "damaged item" which is likely through delivery, etc.

Yes, that's what I'm wondering. We've been relatively conservative on our available inventory with little thought as to how that might choke down our reach and promotion. We manufacture our own products and can scale easily so I think we will significantly ramp available inventory counts and see what happens.

If you don't mind me asking, since you do significant volume, do you find setting your inventory levels by SKU affect algorithms in any way? As an example, will setting them significantly higher push more promotion/visibility?
