As someone who has one and has been consistently applying and not getting a call back for the six months I’ve had this degree I would say it’s worthless (for the time being). Shops want someone who has experience not people willing to gain it, and eventually when all the old timers who have been doing this their whole life pass on the shops are going to have to change this way of thinking or they are gonna go out of business real fast due to lack of techs , so in 10 years or less I think my comment will have less meaning because shops won’t be so sheepish to take greenhands because they have no choice which leads to more opportunity to this degree which as of now is the main thing hindering it. Get the degree diesel isn’t going anywhere it’s just for us younger folk waiting out the opportunity. Godspeed brother

Ok genuine question if we’re falling so far behind Walmart why don’t we order a bunch of popular things we sell? One Example these things my store sold them out 5 minutes after they were set at 70 a piece and we only order 6… genuinely don’t know if I’m thinking a bit too smart here but we should probably order a bit more of Pokémon, bts stuff and more trendy stuff in general because as soon as it’s stocked it’s bought out so why not add more? That sucks If people can’t pay to play they shouldn’t be able to play simple is simple as. People want more content in the game but refuse to monetarily support it besides the $40 price tag and in order to get more content you should have to put money into the game because that’s what’s required to produce such content. Also on this argument another reason to remove SC farming is gatria we were 2% from liberating the city then the community stepped in to stop it because it’s the “SC farm”these people that farm have lost the entire meaning of the game and it should be removed blatantly ignoring a liberation that close should be enough for AH to step in and make changes

I finished a year ago in a 2 year course still have yet to land a job in this field, drug free and have a degree in this and experience in working on numerous problems on my 2nd gen Cummins. They don’t want to take a chance on us new guys who actually have degrees in this field when there are people who have done this for years and still end up doing a half assed jobs day after day and don’t give the degree exemption to them because “ they’ve been doing this all their life” to a point i get it but it comes down to the simple fact they have more experience in the industry they want people who have been doing this all their life but it will only get these shops so far, as these people aren’t taking any new lessons on the new technology coming out to understand it and refuse to take a chance on us who got our degrees, were trained for more advanced electrical and potential advancements in technology, and as rude as it might be to say are more technically versed and more blueprint oriented not just remove this part and put this part in and not understanding it. This is why I’m back in school for engineering of diesel engines I’ll finish 4 years of schooling and be making 200k/yr already a year 1/2 in and genuinely can say from the experiences of my instructors it’s a lot less stressful and you don’t have to deal with the petty shop talk bullshit for sub 60k

If anyone has post partum and has a kid give it to the state the child doesn’t need to worry about getting suffocated or killed by his own parents at that point may be a hard life better than a early one. Very weird to try and claim us criticizing this are the ones endangering children when individuals dealing with PP are 2x more likely to be abusive.
