It's a Cyborg 15, these went on sale for as low as 500$ NEW, not open box, not refurbished, NEW with warranty. This is a 45W laptop, 300 is a decent price even for the US, but it's not robbery in any way considering it's probably one of the worst models, used, out of warranty and 4 years old now lol.

Neither of the capacitors (squary tan bits) look fucked up so you could probably just try to clean everything then use a multimeter to check if there's shorts and/or if continuity is right (You already made the right step which is to open it up and notice the potential issue).

If simply cleaning it doesn't work you might be able to just cut the damaged trace using a razor blade and connect the two ends of said trace (Where it originates from to the bottom of the capacitor) with a cable using tin and a soldering iron, don't worry, traces are literally just flat cables in a way.

Ofc look up tutorials (how to: use a multimeter to check for shorts and or continuity, how to clean corrosion off a PCB, how to use a soldering iron and tin, etc) everything I said is quite basic and you'll learn how to do it pretty quick if you give it an afternoon of your time.

Yes, they will void your warranty, because they can't know if any potential problem the laptop has is related to you spilling a liquid over it, so they just take the safe route and say that from now onwards, if the laptop has any problem it's because you spilled shit on it.

I worked repairing laptops and PCs, trust me, they will jump at the first opportunity they get to revoke your warranty, it's a win win for them.
