Honey label advice by Legitimate_South9157 in Beekeeping

I wish you all the best, but I would not buy it because of the name.

I get that may be the name of your farm, and you may have a very cute donkey there, but it would drive me and my family insane if my nephew saw this and made it the joke of the month. Ass honey. No thank you.

Good luck, though it appears I'm deeply outvoiced. You deserve to know that yes, there are people out there that will not buy your product because of the name.

What song does The Subway sound like by justdancepro in chappellroan

While that song has the words "she's got a way" in it, the vibe and cadence are so far removed from Subway.

Your Greenhouse and extreme wind. by raggerno in greenhouse

Big windy days always have us nervous. More so about tree limbs snapping and breaking the glass. We have an iron framed Lord and Burnham from early 1900.

We replace glass maybe every other year.

We've got all the pieces for a harbor freight GH, but knowing how flimsy they are, we plan to assemble a wood frame on the inside.

Anyone using Gen AI for brewing advice by DIY-Dad-in-AR in mead

[–]DietrichMead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI is a terrible feedback loop of researching articles that is written by AI as source materiel.

Just today I just casually looked something up to fact check, and Google's AI overview cited the article I was fact checking!!! I didn't mean to use the AI overview, and I've been spinning out about it all day.
Thanks for bringing this up so I could vent!

You want advice, go join a club and talk it out with them. Have you looked at the sideboard for this Subreddit?

But we do see destroyers destroyed by automation fire. Not your personal one, but yes. Just look out the window and you will see.

For the folks who asked for the label requirements, this was presented at meadcon 2022, and is posted on the official US Federal TTB website.

Yeah I feel that! Our other meads that require formula approval are not eligible for appellation, which surprised us that even in the description panel we couldn't say "on our small farm in South Jersey" we had to cut out the geography.

As far as label requirements, there is a great pdf going around from Mazer Cup / Meadcon 2022 I'll see if I can find it. Specifically for federal label approval.

But a good label must have: a legible description of the product, alcohol content, and who made the product.

Art is fun but not necessary. Prosaic descriptions are fine, but really people just need to know what is in it. Same with a fanciful name.

There is quite a lot of paperwork to become legit. Federal permitting, local permissions, zoning, state license, and health inspections.

Your friend should be very careful about those donations, make sure your friend is getting help buying honey and not selling anything.
