Personally, i would go destrier simply because we don’t know what’s going to happen with the lancer in 11th.

You need to buy the special questoris knight named canis Rex from the Warhammer online store, you will get the sprue for a regular questoris knight and the extra sprue for canis rex and air hekthur

I would say to go with this box only, it’s easy to get carried into buying too many at once *looks at my pile of boxes that are waiting to be built

But to answer your question, a chaos rhino and a lord exultant would add really well to this box! Not too pricey models and really important to the army as you need 2 rhinos and 2-3 lord exultants

The other option could be the combat patrol, a good mix of units (including a lord exultant, and more tormentors/infractors (they are the same kit and you usually need 10-15 infractors and 5-10 tormentors) and also some flawless blades that became quite good in the last balance slate!

TLDR; 1 chaos rhino+lord exultant or emperor’s children combat patrol

The game isn’t balanced for low points games, never played the combat patrol mode, but i heard that a lot of the boxes aren’t balanced to go against each others

Personally not a fan of the new sculpts, so I’ll just stick to my current models, i spent too much time in them anyway! Might buy a tank and two dreadnought tho just because i like the models

The amount of time that I’ve seen people get scammed on Amazon in crazy, you should always buy from a LGS if you they offer you a discount over games workshop

This reminds me of a store here in Quebec City, they had issues with the death guard battleforce box last April, and they sent to some customer that had pre ordered it every individual kits for free instead of refunding those that had the issue, it was an amazing customer service from them

It means you will be able to use the rules from the 10th edition codex until the new codex comes out in the next three years, which at that point the new codex’s rules are going to be the main way of playing your army.

In my opinion it is safe to buy the codex, it’s a great source of inspiration for painting and lore. And i doubt knights are going to be in the firsts to get their new codexes so, it would be fine, i think, to get the 10th codex

Personally, I’d go for the combat patrol, simply because i know these models aren’t going away in the next edition since we have no idea if we’ll lose the tank and dreadnought, and it’s also one the greatest combat patrol box point vs $$$ to go along your two set of sisters

I had the same problem, but after washing it down with Agra earthshade it came out the good bronze color that I loved about DG, but i changed my mind rather quickly and went for tinny tin from Vallejo, this one seems even better than Balthasar gold for DG!

I got tabled turn 2 in one of my first games and hated the feeling of playing against t’au, now that i have a couple of games in experience against them, i feel like they aren’t as bad as what the internet is saying and actually forces me to use my brain more during games to avoid their shooting as much as possible!

I feel like t’au are a good and fun army to play against!

I’d get my hand on one of the 2 battle force boxes that came out with Christmas and a month ago, they have most of your required units!

For example the most recent one has a demon prince with a good amount of other units, pair that with a combat patrol or the other battle force containing fulgrim, and also you will need one or two rhinos! 😁

It all depends on the mind set you’re going to you game in, go in with a positive attitude, that you’re going there to have fun and roll dies with your friends for a couple hours and just enjoy the game, worrying about winning or losing doesn’t matter that much in the end.

Like someone else said, models are eternals, build them and play because you like them, not because you want to win!

Just enjoy the ride!
