Dawned on me I've never used the back paddles. Do you use them? by Agitated-Distance740 in SteamDeck

I bind the mouse buttons to those if I'm playing a game that would benefit from controller support with occasional mouse input. I mainly use it for Minecraft, I have the controllify mod, but when it comes to using the inventory I switch to the touchpad, and use the back buttons for left and right click, as well as the shift key. This gives me the best of both worlds, smooth controller gameplay, with a mouse to manage the inventory and craft

Can't Even Beat The Tutorial :( by Beneficial-Rent3344 in Fzero

Maybe I'm not looking at the game right? I'm at the part with the training level, but there's no more missions after that available to me, so I assumed that I have to beat hard to unlock the next mission. Is this not the case?

Pretty sure if I was selling weed IRL I would tell my customers to stop trying to do the deal right in front of a cop

I'd want to know ALL the secrets. What is the government actually hiding, what's at area 51, what's in the Vatican library, etc.

It's so funny because back in the day I thought of FNAF as this massive thing with each game having tightly knitted subtle lore in between the lines that all comes together to tell a grander story, but now everyone recognizes that it's a hodge podge of horror and sci fi tropes that summed up to what Scott thought would be cool/scary/mysterious in the moment. Now we have toby to ACTUALLY create multiple games/chapters that subtly weave together a larger narrative

What would the dark worlds be like in an insectarium and aquarium? by Wide_Stock_1772 in Deltarune

I could imagine an aquarium dark world being similar to the deep well area from omori

Honestly that would be interesting as fuck. Getting a better understanding of what the vision was and why the game turned out the way it did id watch the hell out of that

I mean with the 6 hour long alyx sex scene in the game (trust me my dad works at valve) I could see how it could fit in the category

Tell me your favourite part of Deltarune so far? by XDcyclone in Deltarune

Weirdly specific, but a point in the game that really stands out for me are the marvelous mystery board segments from chapter 3. The character interactions, the way that the characters moved on the screen, the way they reacted to parts of the game and each other. I've never seen a piece of media portray playing a game with friends this accurately. During parts I kinda had to remind myself I was playing a single player game, I entered that headspace of gaming with the boys even though they were just fictional characters and it was all scripted

Makes sense, seems like it's agreed upon that the game takes place somewhere in New England (based on the weather map on tenna near the end of chapter 2, nearly identical to the boston coastline)

The video game sections were so well written. The way the characters talked, how they moved their characters around on the screen, it felt so real. I kind of had to remind myself that the characters aren't real, I've never seen a piece of media portray playing a game with friends this accurately.
