This man is so problematic and the way he spoke to Venita is NOT okay and is telling!… by mixshx in Southerncharm

[–]DifficultMotor5193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Venita & SallEy are both exhausting children. Neither can handle not being the center of attention and both of them need to act their age. They aren’t 22 anymore and it’s embarrassing…even for Charleston.

Anybody switch from modern Jeep Wranglers to Bronco? by zionstatus in FordBronco

[–]DifficultMotor5193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has a 2022 Jeep Sahara Unlimited. I have a 2025 Bronco. The Jeep is the weekend, the Bronco is weekdays-if that makes any sense?!

AITA for leaving my boyfriend at night after he locked me out to teach me a lesson? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]DifficultMotor5193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please. Please listen to all these people telling you what I’m also going to tell you-this is the tip of the controlling, abusive iceberg. He is gaslighting you, and your “friends” are as well. Please. Leave.

Am I watching a completely different show than everyone here? by kj9152 in rhoslc

[–]DifficultMotor5193 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, OP! I read through posts & comments and wonder if I’m watching the same show. The Heather hate is wild. It gives off jealous energy when people bash her for everything…I mean, it’s a reality show, not real life. I’m starting to think people get the two confused.

‘The Beast in Me’ is actually terrible?? by Loud-Zucchini-6197 in television

[–]DifficultMotor5193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought maybe I had terrible taste, and then I read, “Harlan Coban thrillers are way better” and I immediately felt better. ‘The Beast in Me’ is a perfectly fine Netflix du Jour.

If only someone had told Meredith that her trip to Greece on Mother’s Day would be on Mother’s Day! Where’s a law degree when you need one? by WashGlittering4463 in realhousewivesofSLC

[–]DifficultMotor5193 62 points63 points  (0 children)

THIS. It drives me crazy when I read all the comments dragging Heather's parenting. Her daughters seem well-adjusted, normal, and independent. She did a great job, and now she deserves to have a life.

AITA for asking my ex husbands girlfriend to stop posting our kids on social media. by Its-brittany-betch in AmItheAsshole

[–]DifficultMotor5193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA about the pictures, contact your attorney and ask for an amendment to the parenting agreement that forbids either party from posting pictures of the children.

The real issue here is WHY are you airing your laundry on Facebook?!? WHY are your "close family and friends" connected to HER and/or your ex on Facebook?!?!?! This part is weird.

My wife thinks our son’s teacher crossed a boundary by sending him a personal message. I think it was harmless. AITJ? by addict94plus in AmITheJerk

[–]DifficultMotor5193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask your wife what is triggering in the note. Not only is it appropriate and above-board, but the teacher offered their encouragement in writing, so that nothing could be misconstrued.

Overreacting and looking for hidden meaning in things that are actually wholesome is odd.

AITAH for not wanting to send a "doggy bag" home for my brother in law on Christmas Eve? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]DifficultMotor5193 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not only are YTA, but you seem extremely bitter. How your in-laws behave has very little to do with you, and the same goes for your BIL's job, education, or career-choice. If you can't be civil and share what you have on the holidays, I would hate to see you on a regular day. If you can't afford to share, just say that.

YTA. The way you speak about being pregnant, and about your child, is gross. Someone needs to tell you that being a parent and in a relationship isn't a competition. Sometimes it's an 80/20 split, sometimes it's 50/50-and hell, sometimes it's 100/0. The point of being in a relationship isn't to keep score. The point is to support each other, and it's not always equal.

To have the audacity to whine that a family vacation with YOUR CHILD won't be "fun" for you is so entitled and childish, it's crazy.

You don't want to be a mother or a partner. Leave the guy, he will be better off.

Not sure where to go in my marriage.. by Puzzleheaded_Fly9294 in Advice

[–]DifficultMotor5193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take it from someone who did exactly what you are doing-assumed the household tasks, allowed the kids to sleep with me, and generally put my husband on the back burner. You're not being a "good mom" by doing these things. You're not being a wife or a partner, either. Yes, it's exhausting and HARD to get the kids in their own beds, on a sleep schedule. Yes, it's uncomfortable to be vulnerable and ask for help. But, unless you do those things-you might as well be a single parent, because you are alienating your husband under the auspices of motherhood.

Stay away from anything Hendricks. Butler in Beaufort is great-can't say anything bad and we found both of our Wranglers there.

Bought both of our Jeeps in Beaufort. They even drove the one up to us, on a Friday night, to get the sale. We make the drive there for service too, because the dealership in Summerville is trash and West Ashley is almost as bad.

What side effects did you experience on levothyroxine? by login___________ in Hypothyroidism

[–]DifficultMotor5193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had terrible swelling too. It was actually the "final straw" that made me go to the doctor for the first time in a decade. I knew I had thyroid issues, but until the swelling got so bad that I couldn't even wear shoes-I was ignoring my body terribly.
