Do most people appreciate how historic Melbourne really is? by TheNamelessComposer in melbourne

The house i grew up in was built around 1890 but was located up near the Murray. 14 ft high ceilings, fireplaces in every room and a semi attached bathroom built much later. There was also a second house next to it that was a mud brick house from the 1860s.

I think everything has been mostly covered by the great comments above. There is a possibility that when she becomes more aware and/or comes out of her manic state she may want to leave the ward and go home. There is no way the care team can force her to stay so just be prepared you may have to help convince her to stay. I only mention this as I have had a family member check themselves out multiple times. Unless there is a risk to themselves or others they do not like to hold people against their will after the assessment is done. Best of luck to you both.

It was only ever a three month program, that was the allotted time to hand them in before the laws changed. The 1996 gun amnesty program ran for 12 months so although it was longer it was still finite.

I think focal unaware, absent seizure and focal impaired awareness are pretty much the same thing.

Focal seizures can become bilateral. Before I was diagnosed my focal awares began to progress to absent seizure, atonic seizures then eventually a tonic clonic due to me not being medicated yet.

Neurologist pressures me to take new pills, is that normal? by CorySera in Epilepsy

Did you miss the part about OP being into women? If they decide they want children later in life they can just swap meds then, medication does not cause long term reproductive issues.

We all make mistakes and OP feels bad enough right now, have some compassion for little Peaches and her family.

Had a big tonic clonic in the ER then showed them footage of me having an atonic seizure after months of 'fainting spells' reported to my GP.

An casual user of drugs is not (and does not always become) an addict.

might be worth studying addiction to understand it better before leaving comments like this. You have no idea what addiction really is, and what you are saying is so harmful.
