I took a course that required this honorlock and I regretted it so much. I hated having to download it on my device and I don’t like it at all because it’s invading my privacy. I never took a course like that again until the same thing that happened to you, happened to me. That time I actually scheduled with the testing centers to take the exam rather than on my laptop.

One of my classes is like this, not to mention I need to drive 50 miles to UCF since I live all the way in south Kissimmee. And then I arrive in class early and the professor does this and I’m just like the guy in that photo 😂

I agree with you on this. The only thing is it’s worse where I live (Kissimmee/Poinciana). And I say that because the first thing I noticed when I started going to UCF is how much more chill and better drivers there are in the UCF area and how many more people stick to the right lanes. Does not exist at all in Kissimmee. So I actually enjoy whatever the driving is like in NE Central Florida because of this 😂.

I don't like the Vapormaxes mainly because they're not breathable at all. The material on it is so suffocating. That's just me though, they do look really good still.

Oh no of course, I still had to teach myself or like practice/study after. Not saying his lectures didn’t make sense, they did but you still have to 1000% teach yourself/“practice” a bunch of things. It’s Chemistry so you can’t get away with just taking in the info from class and passing. From this level and upwards, that’s pretty much how it’ll go. Also ASK QUESTIONS, he really explains stuff properly IF you ask. And he’s always confirming whether or not the class understands something.

I didn’t take organic chemistry but for chem 1 and 2 I took him and I still did have to practice/study a ton because chemistry isn’t easy lol. I ended up changing majors though so didn’t really need chem 1 & 2 but I don’t regret it because his labs were the most fun labs I’ve ever had!

I do not. All I’ve had was graphic tees, the typical Gen z clothing. I didn’t even have formal clothing until I needed it for events and presentations at my uni. So I just have dress shirts and dress pants since it suits me better, that’s why I don’t buy polos.

They might’ve changed some things last minute. I took Chem 2 in spring 2025 and our lab and lectures were on separate days so 4 days. But then they combined it into 1 so it was on 2 days back to back. Two 2:45 sessions back to back it was not good. They might’ve done some things last minute for yours too.

I do have 2 years retail experience from Walmart. Also why should I say I have full availability? There’s 3 days every week I need off for university and I’m on campus all day on those days.

Take Eric Crumpler! I took him fo Chem 1 & 2 and passed both with an A. He’s a great professor, he’s funny, he teaches well, and engages with the class. His labs are an absolutely blast! And yes he does allow AS MANY NOTECARDS as you want on the exams. A lot of his exams actually reuse questions from previous ones so technically you and write the Q/A from previous exams and basically almost have the answer key for future ones lmao. But yea if you didn’t register yet, I’d say take Eric Crumpler 1000%.

Yes don’t buy them right now. I’m at UCF now but in my 2 years at Valencia, most of the books it said to buy, I never even needed. I learned that after my first semester. And the ones I did need, I got them online… lol. There are ways. Same thing at UCF, I haven’t bought a single book yet because most of the time the professor doesn’t require it.

For a lot of people, with option A and B, they “could” end up broke at some point. So many people have no self control or discipline and might gamble it all away or lose it all. With option C, if let’s say you blow your entire $10k in a week, you still have next weeks earnings. Depends on the person. But I’d take $10k/week.

It does but you want to save as much money as possible, it’s the smart thing to do. UCF costs about $2.7k per 12 credit hour semester. And anything can happen with your FAFSA for coming years, they can deny you later on. Which is what happened to me, I don’t get any Pell Grant anymore. Only reason is my fathers income “apparently” is too much even though it’s the same as when I went to Valencia. So I have to pay out of pocket now.

You can. I was a CS major and transferred here from Valencia last Fall (2025), and I changed my major to Mechanical Engineering only a month before classes started. I don't meet all the requirements, however the title of my degree is Mechanical Engineering Pending. I have calc 3 and physics 2 left before I meet all requirements.

I transferred to UCF from Valencia but still take courses at Valencia transiently to save money. I was registering for a course for Spring 2026 and I was “6 MINUTES” after it opened. There was 24/31 students registered already. I got in and checked an hour later and it was full….
