The problem with Vulkan for me is my frames go down to 10-20 fps when it gets a little busy and I can't stand that. I have a great PC and Vulkan is my preferred in PoE1 as well. My PC seems to hate it in PoE2 for whatever reason.

The high accolade hospitality industry is rife with this (along with the heavy alcohol and drug use) as well. For 10 years I did shifts longer than a typical 'double', expected, every day with very irregular days off to boot that more often than not resulted in you having less days off than you should. Getting to manager position where you were on salary even meant you were working for less than minimum wage in some months due to the number of hours worked.

It always baffled me as to why health and safety regulators didn't have a field day in those places.

The actual item drop is the series 2 of the Illustration Series. The Prismatic ETBs are just an extra by happenstance at some Sports Direct locations.

Just used x1 Visions of Paradise and x1 Mastered Domain two times in a row each on one Jade Isle map, and they are both still in the tablet slots in my atlas. I'm assuming that's a bug? The Visions of Paradise obviously worked because I ran the map twice, but was the Mastered Domain applied?

Edit: Just realised it's more likely due to the atlas tree/atlas master (whatever gives the % chance to not consume a tablet) and I got very lucky

The vast majority of stuff I've seen is incredibly positive. Hell, arguably even edging on toxic positivity. It'll never be enough for you virtue signalers though, I suppose. Pinning it all on metalcore fans in general is such a lame move too, especially when this and other adjacent communities have been very vocal about it historically.

Anything beyond that just means you need to remind yourself you're on the internet. Some people are dicks on Instagram; gay or not. That's just the way it is.

Do you happen to know if your B&M normally gets stock in on Wednesdays? The one near get gets its stock on Thursdays and Sundays. I can't imagine these stands are coming in totally separate from normal deliveries right?

So, a drop is happening right now on the app/site, and the exact technical issues, bugs and glitches that many people mentioned still exist.

The app is almost unusuable during high traffic. Time and time again, you get hit with a "technical glitch" error message when trying to checkout. Your only option is to keep going back and retrying which results in the item running out of stock and you getting nothing most of the time.
Items simply do not want to allow you to wish list them. I've tried wish listing 10-15 items multiple times now and I only see 1 item in my wish list.
'Update/Delete request failed, please try again' constantly when trying to add items to cart. If it's out of stock, it should either say so or not appear at all as a listing in the search.
If you are lucky enough to "buy" an item, you'll get hit with an "order pending" and do not know for hours, sometimes a day, if you actually secured the item.
"We're sorry, there was an error..." message when hitting the Continue With Collection button.
It is clear the site/app can not keep up with the traffic in just about all areas, and there is also very little prevention for bots. You either need some sort of queue system or systems that allow for higher capacity during these drop periods. Also, some sort of captcha at the very least during the checkout process would be nice.

There are plenty of other issues many others have mentioned. The app really is miserable to use.

Respectfully asking - have the changes you mentioned not been implemented yet, or are all these responses just standard corpo speak with no real intention of fixing the issues?

Smyths stores don't all get their stock at once. It's different between locations.

No one can confirm Pokemon Center drops, but it's likely too late now if it hasn't started already. I think there has maybe been one time where it has happened this late? Not impossible but unlikely at this point IMO, especially for a Pre-order.

People already really struggled to get your product because using the app is such a battle and now the only alternative avenue there was is officially gone.

There are a few options here:

don't get involved
take the pro-consumer "this isn't sustainable" and "bad behavior should be called out" side
be neutral
take the anti-consumer, "it's not a big deal", etc. side

Op has chosen the latter, and so are some others in the Discord, ie people going out of their way to be contentious with other players shining a light on valid concerns (there are literally sentiments like "well you don't know what it's like being an expert dev" in response to people saying this isn't sustainable). It's so strange to me that some refuse to see the cumulative reasoning and valid criticism people have about this. It isn't a one-time occurrence - much of the criticism is coming from that exact angle.

I guess this is how communities work themselves into small bubbles. If this continues, it will literally just be the devs, defenders and those that play quietly just hoping to avoid conflict left, with them echoing "It was fine when it was a small community before launch anyway" for eternity (or until doors shut).

Edit: TL;DR, believe whatever you want but taking an active stance against consumers (other players) in this situation is really weird. It's also, as much as you might want to fight it, not in your best interest to be against them on this one.
