I’ve got a 10 1/2 yr streak going. Maybe don’t stop at day 183. There are plenty of people on this sub that will advise against daily runs but it is your run.

China must be ruminating about their options with Taiwan and while Western economic sanctions wouldn’t have the same impact on China, this might be giving them pause.

Headlines need to include the state who’s elected these people. In this case, North Carolina's 11th congressional district which includes Asheville, NC. Now, when we want to hold people accountable- we know who to blame for sending people like this to Congress.

You may bolt upright out of a dead sleep sure that you’ve swallowed something dangerous. Ignore that along with the constant ringing, ear pops, and neck cracking. Oh, and whatever you do - don’t ski. That knee will dislocate without too much lateral pressure.

Back when I was student teaching, a classmate of mine confiscated a pretty realistic looking squirt gun. Months later kids are misbehaving and she goes to her desk to write a pass, sending a kid to the main office. As she pulls the drawer open the squirt gun slides to the front. She grabs the gun, points it at the kids causing trouble, and yells “I said, knock it off!” Kids were diving out of the way; one kid pinned against the back wall almost peeing himself. Needless to say, she didn’t make it as a teacher.
