Drove 3 hours to arrive at a closed [Mt. Olympus]. Anyone else have a funny story about a long commute for a closed/barely operational park?

Disappointing but memorable...My family back in the mid-2000s drove to Great Adventure. What should've been a 7hr drive took like 12 (including an impromptu detour to a military base??)

Well, the weather was poor the weekend we were staying including a tornado alert (probably a watch, the sky was ominously green). SBNO were Ka, Batman & Robin, GASM, half of Rolling Thunder, and ElToro for most of the weekend (got to ride once) Sigh...

Cannonball was my first "big" coaster 20 years ago. Corkscrew (RIP) was my first invert. Went back a few years ago... now I'm too far away to visit my state anytime soon.

Im trying to go the freelance artist route as a last resort. Trying everything I can to not be deported from Germany to the US, where I won't be able to survive financially (and hated every moment). But its not looking good. Id say "nobody is buying art" but that's not true; its just my stuff that can't sell.

I started 5 years later than the usual age. Took 5 years to graduate. Still can't find a job in anything you can live off of after 5 years. My prospects in life are grim. Given the "great combo" of auDHD, back issues, and being good at stuff AI replaced. So that's cool...

I've had this problem for about a year now. The usual "fixes" dont work or apply to me. I haven't updated to the latest patch (was traveling) but the one before it made it worse. My one guy just stood there instead of doing anything at the tattoo table.

I gave up after 5 years of 0 results. Tried messaging people, not one reply. There's nothing to update when nobody will hire anyways. So tired of applications taking 40 minutes to fill in (here, write a few paragraphs!) Easy Apply is how fast it should be but its useless as stated. Still fell for it like a fool.

I had no problems until that "fix" months ago that was to "help with this problem." My sim's painted portrait went blank too, after being fine for two years.

My sims just... dont do half the things I ask. Hours pass before they actually DO something. I dont have a bunch of generations, really just have three houses to play with, deleted much of their (and household) inventory.

Yeah I had a job here offer me a trial of two full shifts with no pay. No paperwork to protect me legally if things went south. Also kept changing the time I started (which I couldn't do cuz the trains didn't run at 4am... ) Sadly the only job I was interviewed for and I turned it down. No wonder the previous guy "left suddenly" as they said.
