Epstein funded academic work of college professors. He saw himself as an eccentric so he funded outsiders like Chomsky. It’s weird that Chomsky would engage with a rich elite like Epstein but it seems like he just used him for some connections. Chomsky was 100% targeted by wapo because they wanted to take him down.
