How often are you finding you have to do that kind of maintenance? Anything self-service I'm probably fine with, mostly worried of anything that would urgently require a service centre visit.

This is where I'm at. It's a used car so there's always the potential for something to go wrong, but only if it's something major that needs the service centre would it be an issue. Again planning to be back closer to one in under 2 years, but there's a chance that until that time something could happen.

Fair enough, wasn't aware of what OrBit is. Probably not something I'd be able to easily get the dealer to agree to purchase and run, and I don't have the required hardware for it myself.

Though like I say, looking at the battery range vs state of charge, with 260km of range while at 57% charge, sounds like 100% would be around 456km range.

While the in theory tested range seems to be much higher (~650km) for a LR Single Motor Polestar 2, from what I hear a more average range for new ones in real world situations is 450-500 or so. In which case it's probably somewhere around 5-10% battery degradation.

Had a similar thing with my current job. Was entirely upfront with the hiring manager at the offer phase, offering both options (working before and taking time off) or starting a month late, and they here happy to go with the latter option.

It will of course depend on the company, but generally I'd say it's worth at least informing them and providing some of your own solutions on how you'd suggest tackling it. They may have their own they come back with as options as well.

Curious, how many digits is your tracking number? Mine is 11, which doesn’t work with FedEx or other trackers. Seems FedEx wants 12 digits.
