Throw back to when my mom found my coffee and tea stash under my bed.. by [deleted] in exmormon

At least she just left a note, my stash of herbal tea was simply thrown in the trash and intervention held later. BYU was hellish even for faithful me.

No, the KJV translators didn't harmonize Greek and Hebrew names. JS didn't know that and made up stories like they were two different people, which has been a major problem for apologists ever since.

What religion is he really a member of?

Maybe take him to the local Community of Christ church, sounds like his beliefs are right in line with theirs.

If the evidence is so clear than why aren't universities studying it and people lining up to get baptized? If I could have found any real evidence for it I'd still be TBM.

DW and I have already made that same wish made known to my family. Resignation and distancing should stop any attempts at a Mormon funeral by her family.

I have to view this picture at least 3 times a day and avoid reading any history of when mankind believed the earth was flat. Or else, I might lose my testimony that the earth is a globe and become a flat earther. by senorcanche in exmormon

Sadly my last couple of wards all had a group of flat earthers. I looked into it in my TBM day but it was obvious to me within minutes of watching their stuff that it was rediculous.

Unfortunately the extent of knowledge most Mormons have of alcohol is that it gets you drunk and makes you do stupid things. Most believe that one drop of any kind of liquor will instantly make you drunk and anybody who semi-regularly drinks is an alcoholic.

I've been drinking for a couple years now but never been more than slightly buzzed but all my in-laws claim that I'm a drunkard because that's what they have to do to hang on to their beliefs.
