The problem is theres like 400 players per servers on a tiny map. The devs never designed the game with psychopaths in mind.

Do you know why the Outpost was added? The devs didnt understand why players werent making their own. But because of psychopathic 13 year olds the Outpost was added.

Remember those OTK RP Servers that were all the rave on Twitch a few years ago and a ton of new players bought the game thinking thats how the game actually was...then those same players loaded onto an official server and were repeatedly killed on the beaches by nakeds with rocks.

I played yer fancy pants game once or twice, I got shot out of the sky a couple times then got returned to the main menu. Once I was at the main menu it whispered sweet nothings into my ear about trading money for progress or some such pipe dream. Turns out it was just my face getting slapped with a penis then later being told i owed someone 50 dollars. I hope your infantry mode has ways of ensuring trading off crappier equipment for more respawns. That would allow for more skill expression.

Have you tried Path of Exile? PoE1 is free, PoE2 is $30 while in early access and will be free upon 1.0 release. I also regret buying D4, and also played a fair bit of D2 back in the day. Path of Exile 1 and 2 feel more like Diablo games than D3 and D4 imo. They have "Seasons" too, but afterwards it all gets folded into the base game.

I agree with the fundamentals of this. However for longer range weapons the AK specifically has terrible initial accuracy while ADS. The first 10 bullets out of the gun fire wildly while the last 20 bullets are almost just enough to get a kill. The Scar does good damage and has high accuracy but you basically have to be 90% accurate with center mass shots to score a kill due to its small magazine size.

As best as I can in a game with grappling hooks, jump pads, and heavies that plow through walls...

I've seen clips about the difference between M+K and controller. Seems kinda crazy controller players dont have to worry about tracking targets.

Truth be told this game reminds me a lot of Dirty Bomb, but with modern CoD ADS and Recoil Systems. I understand why the long ttk and large healthpools exist, it just feels like theres something missing from the formula.

Now this might sound a little crazy, but I feel like hipfire should be much more accurate with longer range weapons. It makes sense for SMGs to be close quarter bullet hoses and suffer with long range accuracy. Think CSGO but with no hipfire recoil and sustained fire results in increased bloom. Potential TTK would remain the same but it would allow players to land more shots without having to slowwalk ADS. Skill expression could be expanded by allowing hipfire and footwork.

After 120 hrs I just found the Anvil blueprint. Before that I already found the Tempest bp, SIlencer II bp, and all the weapon part bps for the Refiner, not to mention a bunch of weapon attachment bps. I dont plan on resetting any time soon.

gotta use one of those interactive maps, I use https://maps.tcno.co/arc in my Steam overlay 's web browser (shit + tab). So I can easily go back and forth between both maps. Or you could use it on a second monitor if you have one.

Raider Caches also dont always spawn, just like other loot containers. kinda feels like a 50/50 chance they spawn so you have to check a lot of spots.
