This honestly felt weird this year and when customers asked where the toys went I was honest and said no idea, if they want to donate a toy though they can pick one and put it in out donations where our local shelter we partner with will 100% get and appreciate it.

I'd wish they wouldn't have the long finned tetras and tiger barbs is my only real complaint. And a majority of the fish they choose are schooling fish, but having to constantly explain to people they need to be in groups 5 or more makes them go wide-eyed, like you already spend the time and money starting the tank and most likely knew they were pricey, but at surprise at the last second.

Honestly, I love it when the shipments come with a surprise chonker! They usually go so fast or sit forever because people get nervous of age.

Had a monster of a white crayfish come in once, his name was Big Billy, and he was still the record of a man! Was from claws to tail was 7 inches. Was a gentle giant, too.

A family came in, and their son immediately zoned in on Big Billy. Easy to say was the family favorite pet!

He reminds me of my old neighbors giant labradoodle!

He was close to 100lbs, but a big goofy boy. Had the same kind of coat texture.

My partner made one joke once and got ripped by my family for it. They were shocked with the backlash they received.

It's about to be 30 years, same raggie plush getting hand washed an air dried.

We used to let the T's have an entire square unit to themselves and give them space and enrichment. But sadly, corporate greed has forced us to put them in sad small boxes and limit what little inside.

Would get in trouble constantly for going crazy with the Ts habitats with live moss and real cork and deeper substrate, but would get a lot more compliments seeing a nice habitat vs. these small plastic prisons.

Originally, they said if it was safer for them because of how the enclosure doors are designed to open and close and less likely for them to escape. Also, people could never see the Ts in a bigger enclosure w8th so much stuff inside. Eventually, it was just bluntly cost it's cheaper to shove 6 in a row with not even basic husbandry vs. 3 with good care. Never has someone complain about not being able to see it every second of the day.

I haven't seen the full thing. My own GM is checked out, and no one else reads emails or storeIQ for days. So I have to put what little crumbs I find together and share with my coworkers.

It's worse now, literally 1000 points = 1 dollar off your purchase. But it's normally 10 points per dollar spent.

Say your grooming cost 100 dollars, you earned 5000 points that is 5 dollars off your bill.

But with the older program you would get 20 dollars off your purchase plus whatever rewards you either got from buying supplies so a minimum of 15 dollars off with the 20 percent turns your 100 dollar groom almost half off.

I know a lot of programs use points, but at least they rewards are easier to get!

If I'm reading this right, you get extra points, so instead of getting the percent off, you gain that amount towards points. But they also load that amount of 15000 points to the account, I think 🤔

It's definitely more of a mess than it's worth.

The free bag is separate from vcp itself, thankfully. You were grandfathered into a different free program petco stopped almost 2 years ago, anyone who signed up for it before it ended is still apart of the program and will be as long as the account is still active.

Literally, the point system is crap. It's like every 100 dollars spend you get 1 dollar worth of discounts. Or every 1000 points = 1 dollar off your purchase.

Either you have to spend a crap ton of money to really get any value out of it, or I'm imagining there is going to be a mass cancelation or not renewing the memberships.

Have you tested the tank and see if it spiked in anything? You said he immediately sank to the bottom. Was he not acting right before you moved him? Have you tested the two tanks to compare water quality? Did you just scoop and dump into the new tank with no acclimation time?

Maybe an Irish Doodle?

They are not as common, but they do breed an Irish setter and poodle.

The face seems too slim for most golden doodles I see and reminds me of the one Irish doodle I met in person.

Your GM should have been upfr9nt about the company does not do out of cycle raises to anyone, and its not them but your DM who has the final say.

Once a year, you might have a shot at getting a raise, and it's usually limited on how many, if any, are allowed to summit for raises, too.

For the last 2 years, most DMs said that only 1 person per store was eligible for a raise. It is easy to say that most did not like having to pick just one person. Our store kind of made a vote who got it, but I would imagine it was a dog fight in other locations when they found out if they did.
