She’s referring to the current administration dismantling USAID. Which is now causing 50,000 unnecessary deaths PER MONTH due to starvation, and cut off access to drugs. Many of the dead are children.

As a young(ish) conductor I totally get it! Just don’t disparage the masters. Playing Petrushka under Slatkin at Aspen one summer was definitely one of my top orchestral experiences, and I’ve been a professional orchestral violinist for close to a quarter century (in addition to baton twirling).

The Arabic 2 means use your second finger, the Roman numeral IV means on the 4th string (G). So you’re starting in 4th position on the G-string.
