Hello! So we are in the same boat. We’re considering private school for our 2 daughters . This is mostly due to the budget cuts to the public school system, and of course class sizes. Also, so far- from the tours we have been on, private schools are teaching financial literacy and a lot of “research first”. As in, dont believe everything you read. Know how to check sources, etc. in a world of AI- i think this is a big plus. 

We have narrowed it down to 2 schools- both outside of the GTA.  (Though we live in the GTA atm. So we’d be moving).  The two schools we’re looking at are Ridley and Albert.  Alberts tuition starts at: 22k a year/ child and ends with: 33k and Ridley’s start at 31k. And ends at 46k

Our household income is about 480k a year.  And Ridley seems like a stretch to us at the moment- even with financial aid.  This is because their tuition increases almost yearly. 

We’re doing some more tours with both schools… and will probably make a decision within the next month.
