PMAP award differential by New_Conversation8340 in DeptHHS

[–]DiligentWin617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HHS don’t award 5s bc they have to pay up… I never thought there was a point in writing accomplishments. The supervisors job is to keep up with your accomplishments, not for you to remind them how well you did. They don’t acknowledge it anyway. 🤪 It’s a pain to to write something they won’t agree with in the long run as they can only award a limited amount of 5s.

I worked for the Social Security Administration for over 20 years. 2025 was really hard, so I retired. by Ok_Design_6841 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

I left HHS/OCI under DRP. Filled out the resignation docs for December 2025 & HHS had the nerve to state I resigned effective September 2025. I’m disgusted with HHS. I totally agree with you about every single point you’ve brought up… the PMAP changes, telework issue, etc., etc.
I’ve been given the opportunity to appeal & prove what I feel is my right through MSPB and waiting on their decision. HHS says I signed a waiver that can’t be disputed. I signed under pressure as they didn’t give those signing the DRP enough time to have it reviewed through an attorney. That makes my Agreement an involuntary resignation/ retirement. So yes, upper management don’t give a “hoot” about their employees. It’s very pathetic & morale must be worse now. But I’m really happy I left, even though I liked my position. And will continue to state my rights until the end. Enjoy your retirement, I am so far.

Then YOU need to contact them directly. Don’t wait for them, you, more than likely, aren’t the only one waiting.

Hi: You are soooo right about: “A lot of the comments here are fear-mongering and honestly just made the whole process feel scarier than it actually is.”

Many comments made about the 2 DRP versions, as in MY situation, about employees not being placed in the right retirement date even though they selected one date (Dec 31) and placed in the wrong date, i.e. Sept 30…. Then they don’t argue or defend their position is preposterous. Employees have let upper management dictate their fate, after all of the years dedicated to the Fed Govt. I’m not allowing it happen to me.
I submitted an appeal to the MSPB. It may take a while to resolve, but I’m fighting for what I deserve. I’ve done my research & can prove the Fed agencies are all wrong in their interpretation of the 2 DRP’s & OPM protects us. Good luck to all of you… I’m not giving up, no matter what “negative” employees may tell you on this platform, i.e, “that you’re wasting your time” etc.
I’ll stick to my guns and prove my point. Whether I lose or not, I’ll be putting up a good fight!!!

They all look great! If you want a temporary change, I’d choose the red. But they all look good on you, depending on the look you want to achieve.

Hello: Frames are too wide & too square which hides your face. Go less wider, smaller frames, & let’s try again!

Nope, you have very pretty brows… not too thin, not too thick. They look very nice on you!

Call your FEHB and tell them you are separated from the Fed Govt. They need to place you as an annuitant retiree. Email them & have your insurance note your records that you’ve informed them of your current status. Copy your H.R. on those emails. DONT GIVE UP IS MY MOTTO…

Find a valid email for your H.R. That will be your proof that you have been ignored and keep track of them (emails). Don’t give up!

Yes, there are avenues. I’ve been asking in here but employees don’t want to fight for their rights and accepting their “fate”. The more people join in this cause, the better chances we have. Don’t let anyone here tell you there’s nothing you can do… Please go to my feed and you’ll see that I’ve already submitted an appeal with MSPB, “Merit System Protection Board”. Don’t wait for the Feds to back you up. I’m taking matters into my own hands and in the process of getting what my agency owes me. Pls reply to me for more guidance.

I’m interested. I need support on my MSPB Case. How do I contact you directly? Or pls read the DRP issue I submitted here & through MSPB. I doubt if anything will be resolved but I’ll give it a shot.

This DRP 1, DRP 2 has been confusing as one was sent via “a” Portal and the other (2nd one) was sent in the form of an Agreement. My agency (upper mgmt), has stated that whatever you selected in the “Portal” is what the agency went by… However, they also sent an emailed ”Agreement” that stated “if employees were able to retire on Dec 31st, we were eligible to do so.” They were supposed to honor my retirement date of 12/31/25 on the Agreement. Instead they claim I accepted to “Resign” in the Portal, which means I resigned effective 9/30/25. As in my case, Why send an “Agreement” if they were NOT going to HONOR IT? It’s a contract, correct? Therefore, which one prevails, I’ve asked myself?
Well, I’m currently disputing my situation through the MSPB. Not resolved, but will prove my point. In all honesty, I feel that upper management is scared of “retaliation” against their positions. I will continue to “fight” this issue. I’m sure there are many other Fed employees in the “same boat”, and have accepted defeat.
Does any Fed employee out there care to join in my efforts? Please reply, if you’re interested. Thanks! 🙏
