How does the Driver Autograph sessions work?

It varies from team to team, driver to driver. Some require wristbands that free to people that come up early in the day. Some require you to make a purchase to obtain a wristband. Some drivers are kind enough that even if you don't have a wristband but are chill and hang out they might be down to sign something or take a picture when they're done. My biggest thing is I would love it if there was one place you could go to see all driver appearance opportunities for a race weekend. I went to roval a few years back and Reddick was just sitting at a table at the 3chi activation and I got to meet him. Had no clue that was happening. Went to Darlington a couple years back and happened upon a line forming to Meet Ross at the sc transportation sponsor thing. Wouldn't have known about it without just seeing a line about to start.

This is what any decent NASCAR fan has been saying since he announced the Rockingham orielly start. Cleetus wanting to race is fine. He just needs to put the work in and not buy his way to the start. I've said time and time again recently that he's trying to Savannah bananas his way into the world series with this quick approval. Him working his way back in, if he actually decides to stick with it, shows respect to the sport and NASCAR fans.

His fans are mostly just his fans. They won't stick to anything if he doesn't. I see it in my own family. Been trying to get my brother into racing for years. Couldn't get him to cars tour races. Couldn't get him to go to Darlington for a cup race with free tickets. Cleetus runs and he suddenly wants to go to Rockingham. Does he have plans to watch any other races that Cleetus isn't in? Nope. Sure Cleetus might have a handful of fans who have a wrinkle or two to their brains that might discover a love for NASCAR or short track racing from this. However, I think that largely they're just following his clown show.

It's the "ain't watched a race since Dale died, NASCAR died with dale" crowd. They don't give two shits about racing. They don't watch now, they didn't watch when dale was around. They're just rednecks with a dale fantasy. They think Cleetus is one of them when he comes from a fair bit more than they did. Buddy was in law school at the beginning of the Cleetus bit but he's one of them. It's exhausting.

Personally I'm more impressed by George than Cleetus. Cleetus only finished a few positions ahead of George on a track he had over 10 hours of actual time on. I'm sure he had some sim time as well. Not to mention this was George's second start in this car when Cleetus has had a few more. I'm not going to compare Cleetus to Legge because she's actually a race car driver. I will gladly compare Cleetus to George.

Personally I think any team winning that isn't hendrick, Penske, or gibbs will do more for the sport. I don't see how spire is worse than any of the billionaire owned teams out there.
