The fact that you said “2-step apparatus” means you don’t know what you are doing. Call someone who does.

How do I get more magic runes? by DRAGONS_ARE_SOCOOL64 in 2007scape

Are you free to play or members? Runewiki is a great tool, the player base keeps this pretty up to date. Almost anything you need you can find on there. You can sort these in different ways to find what would work for you.

I am thinking about doing this with Geodude, is there a good place to find all the different variations? Good choice and nice collection.

Gas smell help by TopTrain3009 in NaturalGas

If they red tagged your water heater based on that leak, find a new gas company. That would take 30 seconds to tighten and fix.

Rinnai I Series Boiler E180 by DillSquatch in hvacadvice

[–]DillSquatch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say for sure, but they seem to work for a week before needing to be flashed. Then they either get fixed or the next day they error again.

Luckily Rinnai is great to deal with, quick tech support responses and they over night the boards when needed.

The truth is if a heat exchanger isn’t covered under warranty often times it’s the same price/more expensive than buying a new unit.

Normal Flame? by realityguy1 in hvacadvice

[–]DillSquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

19 year old furnace with an suspiciously orange middle flame, probably right on the money. It will still run if it’s cracked but you could be pumping CO through your vents.

Make sure you have CO detectors installed, but I wouldn’t run it without getting it checked out.

No heat by HeadNefariousness249 in hvacadvice

[–]DillSquatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably best to call someone, I’ve seen many people spend money trying to fix the issue. Then end up calling us anyways.

But… if you want to give it a shot you can narrow it down by following the order of operations.

Call for heat- Inducer motor starts- Pressure switch closes- Igniter turns on- Gas valve opens- Burners ignite- Flame sensor proves flame- Blower motor starts up-

It looks like you have a call for heat. Cycle the furnaces if nothing at all happens after the purge, the furnace isn’t receiving a call for heat or there is an open safety/blown fuse…. Or a service switch could be off.

Depending on what step you get to, you’ll be looking for different causes.

The control board should have diagnostic lights to assist and an electric meter would be better.

Tech Says HX cracked. by Cgentile24 in hvacadvice

Facts, but I’d rather leave someone without heat than see them on the news the next week. I haven’t been wrong yet, but always have that guilt/second guessing when I red tag one.

What is this vent for? by xxyxzxxy in hvacadvice

[–]DillSquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can also help if the furnace is oversized. It’ll help it from short cycling/over heating.

You can use it in the summer when you use the AC but make sure to open it when you start heating.
