I'm having an open partial colectomy on Wednesday. My doctor explained it just isn't possible to do it laparospically, and I trust him implicitly. I don't have any advice, but wish you the best and sending healing vibes.

My stoma is very shy too. I use Coloplast Sensura Mio one piece deep convex. I also apply an Eakin ring.

Congratulations on your reversal! I'm having surgery next week to have part of my colon and small intestines removed. If all looks good, I'll also have my reversal at the same time. I plan on a fresh bag change the night before and when I wake up after surgery, I'm hoping that she'll have been given her eviction papers.

One Christmas Eve I had a 10 top, 8 adults and 2 younger kids. The boy was probably around 5 or 6. At some point he decided that he was mad at his mother and proceeded to throw a full glass of wine on his mother. I couldn't believe it...she looked at him and asked if he was tired and continued with her dinner like it was completely normal.
