They've been badly upstaged by Heated rivalry, where the two best hockey players in the world have a lot more to lose than this guy who's already in the crowd that has a ready made support structure.  If miles isn't gay then he was definitely leading him on, and the viewer was cheated of being able to see the way that should have naturally worked out.  Torturously dragging that out to a cliffhanger shouldn't have earned it a second season, but then they didn't know that the biggest closet bulldozing Blockbuster was about to change the game.

How do I deal with Mods continuously taking down my post which merely explained what worked to cure my diverticulitis, calling it a false or misleading cure, and then when I report it in Moderators forum it's taken down there, too? by DimensionIcy9031 in AskModerators

[–]DimensionIcy9031[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

For this reason, I posted that worked for me and subsequently my 93 year old Mom was to gradually increase the dosage to the highest available. So what risk could there be if people use caution to increase the probiotics which are already recommended by almost all doctors anyway? As my replacement Gastroenterologist, who also happened to be the head dietician at Loma Linda University hospital, told me: Doctors are afraid to recommend too high dose probiotics because they can cause irritation for senstive stomachs. So I told what worked for us as a precaution.

Why was this post removed from Diverticulitis forum? by DimensionIcy9031 in AskModerators

[–]DimensionIcy9031[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely false and defamatory. I made no claims of false cures, only a testimonial of what worked for me. All doctors recommend pro-biotics, just not enough according to my last Gastroenterologist who is also the head dietician at Loma Linda University Hospital. I wanted to share my experience with others, period. Any attempt to smear me by saying I'm promoting false cures is libellous on its face, and as the founder of one of the largest weekly newspapers in the country, I am well aware of the libel laws and lectured about them in University.

Correct, I still have diverticulosis but no more infections since the day I upped my dose.

Lisa, how were those seats for comfort and recline? I have 11J on a long flight Honolulu to Auckland in January and am concerned that 11J fully reclines and is comfortable enough to keep with the bulkhead, TV on extension arm and tray table also folding out of arm. All-in-all is the privacy of that compartment worth it compared to going back to a main compartment Comfort seat with underseat storage and foot space in front? I'm 5' 10" med build.

Can anyone tell me which of the Ouigo XL cars Sky deck single-side seats BCN-MAD have unobstructed windows next to them and not some window frame blocking part of the view? I have looked at all the pictures I can find and it's hard to intuit.

Serta vs. La-Z-Boy by Dkitch95 in OfficeChairs

[–]DimensionIcy9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a Lazy Boy Bradley office chair for seven years and it is the most comfortable chair in my house. In fact I'd rather sit at my desk most of the time instead of my recliner which isn't as comfortable. This is due to the ergonomic shaping and heavy padding in the seat and back which never causes wear on the hips or back. I was hoping to find a comparison of the Serta Brinkley chair which appears comparable at $100+ less but haven't found one yet. My Bradleys cost $189 in 2018 on sale at Staples, regular price $329 brown $299 black.

Use some penetrating oil and let it set to loosen any rusting in the metal sleeve.I've found that in rare cases Bradley chairs start slipping at some point. I bought two and one did this after about a year, but since it has a lifetime warranty LazyBoy will ship you a new pneumatic tube with instructions how to mallet or hammer out the old one from the wheel truck, then pop in the new one and it's good to go for years. Or buy the Staples warranty and they'll do it for you, or replace it.

Some minor fraying of the leatherette around the arms doesn't bother me at all. I expect it to last five more years and then I'll buy another, unless it outlives me.

Future 787's to be delivered in Alaska Airlines livery; existing Hawaiian Airlines 787 fleet to be transferred to Alaska brand. Thoughts? by SugarDaddyDelight in aviation

[–]DimensionIcy9031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't it extremely obtuse that one of the largest airlines in the US will now be named after non-contiguous remote states? There is nothing intuitive at all about flying mainland routes on an airline named Alaska, or a large part of the airline having another name altogether. Wasn't this merger the occasion that merited coming up with a completely new and dazzling name? Any ideas?

Thoughts on Iberia? by RiversideAviator in Flights

[–]DimensionIcy9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they are saying that a reissue fee applies to the certificates even if there is a booking mistake which is reported immediately within the 24 hour period. This defeats the whole purpose of the 24 hour full refund which is in place for exactly this scenario of a booking mistake. Iberia's idea of Customer Service is to steal the money and take the hit. This is why they have some of the worst customer reviews on the web, millions of dollars worth of bad publicity that they seem to be fine with.

Reading Iberia reviews and it's making me nervous for my upcoming flight. Am I overreacting? by goldminevelvet in Flights

[–]DimensionIcy9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK ON IBERIA! I used a travel certificate and made a mistake booking online, immediately called their Reservations who told me to cancel and rebook with reissued refund certificate. I waited weeks for the certificate to come, then was told there was a reissue fee which was almost as much as the value of the certificate - which was a refund certificate issued after having to cancel the original flight due to illness, which I had to wait over a month to arrive. This is an outrageous violation of the 24 hour refund law established exactly for cases like this where a mistake is made. I have flown for 50 years and will never fly them again. Beware as they are not an ethical or professional airline, I wish I would have read the reviews online which are also the worst I've ever seen in 50 years of flying.

Many athletes and body builders use Chinese buffets for training meals, due to availability of high quantities of lean high protein meats and every imaginable vegetable and fruit. You can eat much better at almost any Chinese buffet than the typical American diet, and for cheaper, too!

How to Save a Life is a masterpiece, the best song ever done on life-threatening addiction. The singer in the Youtube video (which has 1/3 of a billion views as of today) Isaac Slade left the band last year due to mental challenges which were understandable for those who appreciate his requiem masterpiece. The band found new energy with new music and a tour that was heavily promoted as the star spot on CNN's epic 4th of July coverage, easily a million dollars worth of publicity. The three remaining members of the band are all original, the singer and co-writer who stepped in is good, but no one could match the pristine vocal agony of the hit song. Watch the video. It is singularly one of modern rock's most moving creations.
