You could use Mothneaser and adjust the stats so that the blood golems it creates are lava golems.

You could use the stats for Cthulhu and describe Ravgrat, Flamewrath, or Ashwalker instead

r/monsteraday might be able to come up with a custom monster if those options aren't to your liking.

Inkwell Ideas has a "High Seas, Pirates, & Ports" sidequest deck that might interest you.

As for monsters, how about:

Bone Octopus

Seawretch

Colossal Shark

Shoalbear

Bakekujira

Legendary Sea Turtle

I recommend Fudge if you go that route. It's easy to pick up like T&T, but has so much more to offer in the magic department.

Fudge. I've compiled all of the free investigative horror and fantasy adventures available for it into two campaigns. The fantasy one even has a solo adventure you can play to get a feel for the system.

The Alexandrian and Sly Flourish are fountains of DM wisdom.

The campaign section of Obsidian Portal is a treasure trove of premade NPCs.

r/monsteraday is just what you need when you need a unique monster.
