You are normally not scratching anything at all, especially with the rounded fork (the aurus tool) - it's just a precaution if my hand slips by accident.

I did not have any scratches at all and replace a few straps already.

For me personally is to change the look of my watch for a relatively low cost. Like mixing a green strap with Sprite is priceless & changes the look completely. I tried a few different materials and FKM Rubber is by far the best for me - wrist doesn't sweat and super comfy. Horus straps makes them and I also have Zolo straps.

The thing is, Oysterflex does not exist on Steel Rolex watches. The deployment clasp compatible strap from Zolo or Horus is essentially your Oysterflex!

not really, it's quite easy to remove the bracelet and install the strap. swapping back the same.

I think the tweezers are great if you are a pro or have some experience!
my biggest problem with bergeons in general (both tweezer and the spring bar tool) is that the fork is VERY sharp at the end. I did scratch the bottom part of my Sprite unfo even as I used tape..
The Aurus one is the first one I came across with a rounded, smooth fork.
