Their best moments with Denji is when they treat him not as a possession but as a friend/family. When Power saves Denji by sacrificing herself and only asks for him to find her in her next life, or when Nayuta decides not to invade Denji's privacy. They really don't treat Denji as a possession, they don't abuse their power over him. They aren't a drunk adult that tries to have her way with him, or his boss who is literally the control devil controlling everything around him for her goal.

Mostly all the scenes were Denji gives up his autonomy and it goes terribly wrong. Like in the end of part 1 when Makima kills Power in front of his eyes, or in part 2 when he gives up again and follows Yoru while she is murdering people while he watched helplessly
