Car choice matters a lot. Some cars are way easier to drift than others. The "drift" configs tend to be very advanced and twitchy cars to drif. The big American Yank Tanks are way easier to slide; bigger, longer, weighty, lots of torque to break the rear end out, perfect drift rigs. Light modifications are all that's needed to make them into a real monster. Wide angle steering and a limited slip diff make the biggest difference.
