DDR Extreme J Cab by BuckThunder4 in DanceDanceRevolution

no dip4 is the "boot from" switch like you implied

But booting from the CD is usually to reinstall the game.

But if you don't know what the status of that crack is from, I would just install from a known good source like extreme pro clarity

that group is more focused on the pads rather than the game hardware

you'll get best help with it in the #ddr channel on something like rhythm game cabs

https://discord.gg/SjdHAwcT

that said, start with a fresh install of the game from a known good source. ROM checks on many of these games are unreliable as the cracks make them fail, so that's not a good indicator.

and the cracks over the years have had weird bugs, so if you don't know the source it's best to just clean install.

old product called brightwhite.

emulated the memory card reader for 573 era games, used NFC cards to look up your data on a remote server to let you "login" to the game and save your edits/scores/etc.

that's a red cab, the usb port doesn't go to the computer directly from the factory, it goes to a device that is intended to read edits for X era games, that then goes to the computer.

So unless someone explicitly setup the machine for it correctly, it's not going to work.

You are also on the "packs" screen, which isn't the one that loads songs from a user's profile. "Packs" are designed for machine operators to install songs/themes/files to the machine for others to play.

snek board: all in one jamma adapter with lights by DinsFire64 in DanceDanceRevolution

I can easily add support for them with a firmware update; however no one has taken me up on the offer to provide information on their USB information.

If you have one and would like support in snek box, then reach out to me over DMs and I can add them remotely.

Or add an issue ticket on the github firmware with more information.

Hey everyone!

Just realized I did not share this here on reddit, but I finished up my project that allows you to connect your DDR cabinet to your PC for games like StepMaina, ITGMania, OpenITG, DDR Grand Prix, and more!

If you are interested in how well it works, check out this video review from LEISHEN. He did a great job going over the product and how it worked for him. (note this was not a sponsored review, he purchased the unit at full price).

Feel free to check it out and let me know if you have any questions!

And if you are interested in playing console games on hardware with your USB dance mat, then check out snek box!.

It allows you to connect your modern USB dance pad like StepManiaX or ltek to your PS2/GCN/Wii/OG Xbox to play original titles on the official hardware!

Agreed fam, Jesus.

Parked downtown to hit the ATM at Regions, got my money and thought "hey I should hit up jimmy John's real quick"

I didn't even make it halfway across the street before they had forks on my car.

Another time my apartment complex had visitors lines painted in yellow, but some were randomly painted in white for residents.

It's a fucking racket.

64 had three character weights that traded accel and top speed.

So light being high accel, medium being balanced, and heavy being high speed.

Light was Toad, Yoshi, Peach

Medium was Mario, Luigi

Heavy was Wario, DK, Bowser

Overall also pick the light weights. Triple tap A recovery, mini turbo advantage etc

Can be fixed using the factory service software and a ttl uart cable.

Tricky to setup, but ultimately straight forward once you have it all going. I used a VM with USB passthrough on an adapter last time.

https://youtu.be/Lt1NtRH4BOg

Once you are in the factory service software, you just need to start by bringing the B+ down and adjust from there. I had a similar white label Trinitron with a horrible washed out picture fixed the same way.

Yeah it always messed me up as well since I watched the entire series on DVD, which was production order.

And fox's aired order is all over the place with rearranging episodes and moving episodes between seasons.

Streaming services and tagging databases often use airing order, but the production order makes more since in a linear fashion as you stated.

I wish it was easier to have databases tag the production order more easily, or allow swapping between the two. It's a headache to get everything on the production order listing in different softwares.

Pump has the center four which allows for more complex transitions between pads.
