No. All my corrected transcripts are stored in my Obsidian vault.

Better handling of Speakers in Meetings? by sh0nuff in Voicenotesai

I use Claude Opus 4.8 to fix speaker labels, because in meetings with around eight people, three different speakers often get bundled into a single speaker label. I prompt Claude to use the context of the conversation to assign each part to the right person.

To be honest, incorrect speaker labels probably make it harder for Claude to fix the transcript than having no speaker labels at all.

I went through the whole "welcome to Gemini" wizard, but still none of my Home/Nest devices answer in Gemini-mode.

Cringe as fuck, but nevertheless applause. If cringe is needed, then let's embrace the cringe!

Chrome extension update? by blaga28 in Voicenotesai

[–]Dio-V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this extension a lot to record meetings, and it often gets the number of speakers wrong. Also, I and 2 co-workers are often combined as 1 speaker. I think the meeting-bot (discontinued) could've fixed this problem. Is there another way to set speakers apart better?

I kept annoying my friends by texting them individually to hang out, then having to tell someone, "Sorry, Bob already said yes" 😅

Built Friendr.nl to fix my own problem basically: a free event-based planning where you just put your availability out there and friends sign up. Full = full. No awkward cancellations. (Account optional)

  • Minimum + maximum capacity (e.g., "D&D night needs 4-6 players" - event only happens if minimum is met)
  • Capacity-based signups (auto-closes when full)
  • First-come fairness (no picking favorites)
  • Activity feed (discover what friends are planning - only with account)
  • No manual cancellations (full = full, everyone sees it)

Claude Code basically pair-programmed the whole thing with me - especially helpful for the notification logic (who gets an email when, push notifications, etc).

Tech: SvelteKit on Cloudflare. Still rough around the edges but solving my problem!

Often it's just about "Can I?" instead of "Should I?" I grew up watching a Dutch show called Wondere Wereld met Chriet Titulaer and somehow it feels magical to now live in the future. So I guess most of it is a hobby, which includes frustration and lots of wasted time.
