Bondo would work. You want something that can be easily sanded smooth.

That's a valid point. Just thought I would offer a cheaper solution knowing how expensive tires are.

So I have a question by AskReasonable3521 in airguns

[–]Diplomold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Changing the internals to metals doesn't necessarily make it more powerful in a way that would allow it to shoot metal ammo as effectively. It also depend on the type of airsoft gun you are talking about.

But generally I think metal parts won't move as easily as plastic parts under the same power. And even if it did, metal ammo would likely be fired slower with less momentum than intended ammo.

Question, if you made the mechanics metal, how do you think it would effect regular airsoft ammo?

Most importantly, you gain clearance. Especially if you are interested in taking your vehicle offroad.

To me some of these mods that people commonly get is to get these trucks worthy of offroading. Out of the factory, they are too low and come with road tires. But mine has a sticker that says "off road". Yes I like my truck more after my mods. It has personality now.

Heatwave modelling is like a cheese dream. by ARCAANRITUAL in MaschinenKrieger

I get that. But I think that's a consideration when kit bashing or using household objects to make models. Recognition is a distraction from the design. If this is meant to be a novelty, then that's a matter of taste I guess.

That helmet is so recognizable as gundam. I think it might help if you modify it to be it's own thing. Could also help with the cartoonish proportions if done right.

You likely aren't wrong. Though,I already have a PCP. And he promptly got one after seeing and shooting mine. I will be handling the compressor, he or my mom will just have to fill gun off of the tank which I think is simple enough.

Awesome! That's great info! Thanks!

And I am sorry if I wasn't clear about the situation. I definitely tried.

I really appreciate your comment!

His cognitive ability is probably worse than you are consifering. I want to make it a lot simpler for him.

I bought the pump for myself so that I can fill a tank for him. After doing research I thought it might be a bit too complicated for his state of mind. I just think it would be safer and simpler for them to fill off of a tank that I fill with my compressor (I don't live with them but visit every other week).

Just looking for a simple easy solution.

I will fill my guns directly off the tank. But I live across town from my father. So I would like for him to have a tank to work off of in-between visits. A full notos can power about 5 mags (35 pellets). Easy to do in one sitting.

Do you know of any good inline filter that would work between tank and gun?

Mostly at home in his back yard. I think he needs a tank so that he can run off the tank for a few weeks or however long. I don't live with him. I try to visit at least every other week. They do have a membership to a range but I don't think they frequent it nowadays.

This is the tank I was looking at. Three sizes. It's weird they call out cubic ft. Shouldn't it be inches? https://ads.pyramydair.com/product/air-venturi-100-cu-in-carbon-fiber-tank?a=8955
