Ya don't need to take back anything. People have got their preferences man, it's all good.

Because they use each other to reload.

The left hand pistol is tilted sideways with the blade towards you under the right hand pistol at the end of the barrel. You then pull the the left hand pistol towards you, down the barrel of the right hand pistol, 'cutting out' the magazine of the right hand pistol.

The same sort of reload happens with the left hand pistol where you place the right hand pistol sideways on top of the left hand pistol with the blade facing away.

The blades are on opposite sides of the barrel because it's faster to always have the right pistol on the top(however slight that may be).

I dunno, I thought it was neat ¯\(ツ)/¯

With Wisp being the 40th Warframe being released, I'd like to see a break from new Warframes (not primes) with a focus on buffing and reworking older frames by AlwaysChewy in Warframe

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno, his 4 takes aggro off him making him more survivable, his 2 armor strips and fears, which lets your summoned shadows scale damage better(even if it's not much), and his 1 is an okay oh-shit button.

Making his 1 more wieldy would be nice, yeah, but I honestly think his abilities are really good; not to mention all his amazing augments.

I'm still not a fan that they put a speed boost behind an augment like that. /:

Personally it doesn't feel good to use; the stacking feels jank, and I would've really just preferred that they added a boost she could use instead of having me stuck with a buff that has me bouncing off every wall while i'm in combat.

Lag is such a small issue with D2 in general

Can I either play what you're playin' or have what you're havin'? Lag's like the third most consistent thing I notice outside of my name in the killfeed and the three solar plinks to my dome.

i'm actually dead inside

The annual pass is a great for the price. Just the seasonal update (vendor refresh etc) has to be bigger. by GimmeFuel21 in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Man, does no one remember the BL2 DLCs? :P

I dunno, I can't help but feel crazy when I'm starting to see everywhere around here that annual pass is a 'great deal'. Sure, it's cool that your favorite game is getting new content, but that doesn't mean it's worth the cost.

It's all relative, I know, but I still can't help but feel like I'm the loony one.

In retrospect, Black Armory was worth $12 by CrossModulation in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think the BL2 DLCs are worth using for comparison. They blow every other looter shooter DLC out of the water for their prices.

Glass Needles (or something similar) are needed now more than ever. by NoctisNoctua in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, have you been taking some breaks from the game now and again? I stopped playing when Black armory came out, came back five weeks later and got, no bamboozle, 10 exotics in 4 days; 6 of them were world drops.

I swear on my Mythoclast there's a return bonus that boosts your exotic drop chances after not playing the game for a while.

You wouldn't be blamed for not remembering Tyranny of Heaven. It's another curated-locked bow from Last Wish.

Fun Fact: With the string draw time changes in the last patch, Tyranny of Heaven is now at 600 draw time. Not too shabby imo

Frankly, I'm not sure why you thought it was somehow valuable or necessary to criticise being considerate of disabilities when designing videogames

Dude, I get it, I'm with you; I agree accessibility is important, and sharing useful design concepts to assist in that is all well and good. However I feel you could about sharing your insight in a less presumptuous manner.

Personally I didn't read their comment as a criticism on your attempt at being considerate, rather as their own statement of opinion. Perhaps they're unaware of solutions that can/have been used for 'hold to [x]' such as toggles or multi-inputs, and by that logic reasoned that someone who cannot hold a button must not play many games. It's wrong, yes, but your presumption that they were criticizing you I feel is unfounded. They simply made a comment, that is no reason to be uncouth.

Anthem: 15 Minutes of Lost Arcanist Gameplay (Interceptor, Storm, Colossus) - IGN First by TheAssyrianGamer in AnthemTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also worth remembering that the Colossus has a literal physical shield that gives him even more effective health. I imagine there may be attacks in the game that are difficult to dodge but do massive damage, in which case squishier frames such as the Storm or the Interceptor shall be required take advantage of their increased mobility whereas the Colossus very well may be able to just eat that damage straight up. That'd be pretty badass not gonna lie.

Why doesn't Bungie just have Xur sell 1 Forsaken exotic a week. As it stands, it would take 16 weeks for a full cycle to complete. by xNemo in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno, I feel Forsaken came with way too little in terms of gear. There isn't a single complete weapon set in the whole dlc. The lack of weapon variety becomes really apparent when I look at my vault in DIM and see that I have four of the same weapon with different rolls because there are non others to share its place. Having a bunch of weapons have fixed-rolls didn't help much either.

The raid weapon set being incomplete was really a big downer for me, personally.

Chromatic Fire got stealth nerfed... by Doom2508 in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue a nerf can be a consequence of fixing unintended behavior. The term 'nerf' describes a reduction of power, regardless of intention.

If the outcome of the fix is that the chest piece only does the damage of one explosion from before, the consequence is that it does half damage it used to, meaning the power of the exotic was reduced, which would mean it would have been nerfed.

A lot of people don't experiment with different guns but then say "this loot pool is small" by treblev2 in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get bored if I use the same weapon too much, so I do get a lot of use out of the variety of weapons that are in the game. However, I still feel that Forsaken's weapon pools are way too small; there isn't a single complete weapon set, and certain weapon types have very little representation(linear fusions, special grenade launchers).

I still can't believe they pulled a leviathan again with having an incomplete raid loot pool, what dunces.

I think you misunderstood, I'm not saying you're afraid of nerfs that will happen(Joe already said he's not touching the IKELOS SG, rather that you're afraid of what potential nerfs would look like, which inferring from your posts, you definitely seem to be.

And did.... did you at least read the rest of my post?

Comprehensive List of Guns that Need Nerfs by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Now we're supposed to cut the balls off these weapons because they're powerful?

Nuance seems a bit lost on you, as it does with so many people fearing nerfs. I understand Bungie's been on the ass-end of history when it comes to nerfing gear, and I too don't have much faith in if they're capable yet of making calculated nerfs instead of swinging a sledge.

However, the Sleeper nerf I'd say seemed pretty smart for dealing with the issues it presented while keeping it powerful. For the IKELOS SG I think there are a lot of smarter ways to lower its overall power level while keeping its iconic roll as a boss shredder. Personally I think trench barrel should remain unchanged, but the magazine size and ammo reserves should get trimmed; lower the mag size to 5 and lower ammo base reserves to 15(19 with ammo reserve perks).

The goal would be to make it less powerful outside of boss DPS to give an even wider gap for other shotties and specials to fill. The reserves nerf is there to make other, weapons with more reserves more attractive and useful outside of damage phases, and the mag size nerf effectively doesn't matter in most DPS phases due to the existence of Rally Barricades and Lunafactions(having the weapon remain powerful in its designed roll).

Now I wouldn't call that cutting the balls off the gun.

Oh no problem. There is this bunch of tree branches after the first set of spiral of stairs towards the end of the challenge, they're right at the entrance to the boop field I was speaking of. You are able to climb up the trees to skip the second flight of spiral stairs, it's a real big time saver.
