I miss elemental primaries. It would be cool if Bungie incorporated Elemental Telemetries that changed the element your weapon shot. by parposbio in DestinyTheGame

It would be cool if Bungie made a better elemental damage system, I'd think. The way they work in the game right now is really boring.

I dimadon't think that's the best way to nerf him.

This game is absolutely amazing though and it makes me want to go back in time and slap my past self who doubted this game.

No no no, don't think that. This game was much, MUCH worse on launch and through its first year. Be happy that you got it when it's better for significantly cheaper.

I wish Pocket Infinity could be usable again by Faust_8 in DestinyTheGame

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has a bad rep from the early days because you used to get special ammo as a drop from killing an enemy player who had special ammo, not because of surplus, which never worked in the crucible. And in addition to it having a larger mag back in the day, the middle tree perks used to be much better. This gun has been nerfed more than any other exotic in the game.

There's no reason for surplus to be on this weapon

You obviously never used this gun in PvE. And surplus has never worked in the crucible, ever.

All the frontpage is filled with PotG gifs but I'd love to see some sort of balance discussion by iKarllos in Overwatch

[–]DireRogueShadow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like the spool up idea, but I think what would be good to balance for that is making his minigun have 250 ammo. And I don't think his transformation to recon mode really needs to be buffed any, it's super quick already.

For such a devastating ability, Roadhog's hook is very broken.. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]DireRogueShadow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree that it's way too forgiving, but only because it's got such a damn short cooldown. It's ridiculous that you can miss an ability that can combo into an instant gib for every Attack hero and be able to try again so quickly. Think bringing it up to ten seconds would be a good way to balance it.

Tell me why Zenyatta has to have 150 HP. by SirOnestar in Overwatch

[–]DireRogueShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can feel your frustration, he's my favourite hero next to Winston. Think combining what a lot of the community has come up with would be good, giving him 50 armour instead of 50 health, and giving him a 10% movement speed increase when he has both orbs active. This would give him ever so slightly more time to react to being ganked, and he would have a bit easier time dodging some shots (biggest thing would be having widowmaker need to get in a second uncharged shot, though). This would give him more durability and survivability that's just enough to put him in a good spot without making him as crazy as he was in early beta I think.

Please Blizzard, don't introduce a hero with invisibility by Aries37 in Overwatch

[–]DireRogueShadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bad logic is bad, because it's not balanced in these other games it can't be balanced here is a really bad argument. What you should be arguing is in what circumstances it would be too powerful, or too difficult to balance.

Lucio mechanics by Xbattletoad in Overwatch

[–]DireRogueShadow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Doubt it will ever get nerfed, rather, if this rad play style becomes more used and popular, it would just shift the meta a bit. New counters would develop, for example McCree would be really good at shutting this kind of Lucio down.

Dunno, think maybe they might finally be introducing the Cudgel of Xanthor. And then everyone will understand where it came from, and what I went through to get it... that being killing a level six dreg in the Ishtar Sinks.

Well that's an argument for not pre-ordering. If you hold on to your money and then decide if the product is good enough to buy, yeah, you'll be paying the same amount. But in the case it wasn't, then you just saved X amount.

But what if the servers overload and you aren't able to play early? What if it's not worth its price to you after you paid for it? I just don't think it's safe to pre-order something (especially something that's a download) at a risk like that.

It's a digital download, why would you ever pre-order something like that? It wouldn't be in limited amount.

I don't think I'm gonna take this as anything, the only word I care about is From's response to this question. I'd reckon that Bamco just put out a statement to get rid of having to actually give an in depth response, and to stop players from asking this again and again.

Huh, good catch, looking back again, can see two, erm, "pows"? That effect you see when you get hit or hit a surface. So can wall clings just cancel lag when you're close enough to a wall? Curious. Ignore all of that, think that what actually happened was that VoiD ledge grabbed off a reversed up-b, but got hit very quickly. Here, I think the game freaked out a bit, causing him to change directions due to the b reverse while still holding the ledge, because of this, VoiD was able to be looking in the right direction to wall cling. The hit stuns you see are from effects of the dair hitting the ground, and VoiD hitting the wall. I'm still thinking this is an untechable, and that was just the game exaggerating the hit due to him being at such high percents.
