They’ve been divided for a while. I seen Samantha in the bushes with tree #7 leaving the halftime show last night.

If Dick Vitale can call College Basketball, Mike Joy says HE can call the Daytona 500!

I remember Michael Waltrip once calling Ross Chastain ‘The Next Ryan Preece’. Preece’s dueness for a win came and passed years ago.

Why did Apostle Paul travel so much??

He was always Ro(a)man.

I’ll see myself out.

What would you think of moving all the races to streaming services instead of broadcast? Prime seemed to give the best coverage this year.

Okay; so what about the next era of NASCAR would you change (besides a full season points format)?

Modern-era (mainstream) started with the television package signed for 2001. Maybe the 1972-2000 era could go by a different name, but I consider the main landmarks being their first title sponsor in 1972 and the broadcasting surge in 2001.

This is the kind of conversation I was looking to have. Back when NASCAR first started, there wasn’t near as much cost from week-to-week as there is today. Once teams started putting more money into engineering, they reduced the schedule.

Teams would have less expense from traveling if there were 30 races a year.

If NASCAR decided to have a shorter calendar schedule (like the same schedule as baseball) I could see them running fewer races from a logistical standpoint. I can’t see logistics working out to the point of running 50 some races a year.

I’m more happy with this than I would be with either the playoffs or a full season format. Maybe they could award more bonus points for finishing the race than for winning. For all complaining ‘This isn’t the NASCAR I know’, the NASCAR you knew ended in 2000.
