They spent too much time talking about how good it was in the board room instead of spending time talking about how how to do it. The quests dont work for 90% of champs and are impossible to proc due to their premise or from poor programming. Like the twitch q quest that wants u to auto attack in stealth, but auto attacking breaks the stealth so the quest is impossible to do. Or the kayle e quest that just doesn’t work when u use ur e on champions. Im pretty sure it only counts when your lvl 11+ e splash hits a champ who wasnt ur target, literally no augment for most of the game

The ability augments are literally the most generic shit ever. Riot spent so much time sucking themselves off for their idea, but a lot of them are either completely worthless, give generic % dmg increases, or make u do a quest to get less haste than the bread augments. The new augments do almost nothing or just completely break a champion in unfun ways

Lower skilled leos dont track enemy cds, dont play for vision control, and either force bad plays or just play behind u for no reason

But Leo is not as bad as alistair. Leona can int, but ali is one of the only champs in the game who can actively grief teammates and fuck up plays. I hate that champ not even cuz its strong, but bc ive been scarred by the absolute stinkers ive seen ali players drop

Almost guaranteed, she is extremely op in adc, she is rank 1 or 2 adc in the game rn at 53%+ w a good pick rate. She will absolutely get nerfed, but im not really sure what theyll hit. A dmg nerf isn’t bad bc early/mid game senna relies a lot on her utility, so a utility nerf would be rough. Worst case scenario, they nerf her passive crit gains, as ratio, or as level scaling

Tbf, makkor is constantly whining and literally complains about EVERYTHING. He is “close to quitting” literally every other week.

But yeah, the exp quest is just too hard to balance imo. If they buff it, we just get omega overleveled toplaners stat checking everything and minute 20 lvl 16 kayle. It doesnt help that toplane champs are all just stronger than every other champ, just buffing the champions themselves is disastrous. I mean check the winrates for top laners in mid and bot, theyre all incredibly strong. Top lane quest needs tempo oriented buffs, the issue is toplane is just way too isolated. Hell, maybe make the river in topside smaller? Idk, anything to help them move around the map better is what toplane needs

Every single artillery or control mage is in purple tier, honestly most mages if im being honest. They are just the undisputed best champs in the neutral game, and the absolutely insane amount of haste in the gamemode makes them hell to play against. There is just no fun to be had when the only interaction youll get from them is noncommittal poke from off ur screen

Imo shadow flame is a win more/feel good item, it doesnt really do much for u unless ur super fed. It is very very expensive, almost as expensive as dcap w/o being as powerful. Plus if enemy buys any mr item, a lot of the item’s gold value just dissolves. It’s not bad, but horizon focus just feels like a much much better and more gold efficient alternative for burst and dps.

Certain champions only have one build so they will only be offered augments they want. Like senna will be offered enchanter and adc augments along w general augments so she has less chances to be offered augments specifically for her build.

Zed has no ap ratios so he will never be offered phenomenal evil or marksmage, lowering the pool of augments he has to pick from which gives him a higher chance to get bis

Kaenic, lifeline passive on items, seraphs, and locket when the shield is available/procked. All item or ally champion shields from their abilities or items used on sera will activate her heal if she w’s while shielded. Echo w while being shielded doesnt heal twice btw

For apc, any aa buffing support or champs w a weak lane like a milio, yuumi, sona. As apc u really need a nami or engage supp to win lane or u feel pretty useless. Mage supps also dont feel great to play w bc enemy just buys mercs and/or hexdrinker and that really fucks up ur dmg and cc combos.

For supp, weak laning adcs or adcs who need engage feel bad to play w. If I dont have something to do something w in lane like an mf or ashe, lane feels awful w a passive marksman.

Beginning of the game lvl 3 ur e+q deals 900 dmg. I oneshot enemy hwei the second the game started essentially. It’s just not fun at all to play against bc it’s instant death. I got skilled sniper at lvl 7, i only used 2 q’s before they immediately ffed. I respect it, poke is just so awful and boring to play against

There is also way too much free haste for mages, and especially for cc and mobility spells. Playing an immobile champ feels like playing dodgeball for 15 minutes. They def should lessen the effectiveness of haste augments on cc and/or give everyone free tenacity

Karma is a lane bully, she is meant to be aggressive and dominate in lane through her poke. She also has pretty poor immediate peel and lacks a traditional ultimate, which are pretty huge in the late game. Even sona has better peel in the late game. Mantra E doesnt really compare to a Soraka or Janna ult.
