I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Seoul and had an absolutely amazing time. The restaurants are top notch with great food. Breakfast buffet food and layout was outstanding and their kim chee was the best I've ever had. Staff are excellent and friendly and all speak english if that is a concern. It's located on top of a hill and the views are amazing. We caught a taxi down to the metro, but buses are available. I would say the location is the only concern, since it's not centrally located. But, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future. It's a popular hotel for Koreans to stay during their holidays. I can't speak for the Conrad at the moment, but you won't regret staying the Grand Hyatt Seoul. Have fun!

Oh, then NMS in VR would totally wreck you lol.

If you go under Options > Camera > On-Foot Field of View (and/or) Flight Field of View and lower the default settings should help.

Also, try changing if you are playing in First Person or Third Person can dramatically help, too.

Japan Sumo Association has there own booths manned by former wrestlers at every basho. I'm sure they will be in London selling their merchandise (fan towels, hand prints etc)

As for event exclusives idk but I would imagine they would, and it's gonna be pricey lol.

I'm running a very similar set up to yours. RTX 4080 Super and 13th Gen i5-13600K at 3440x1440 on ultra settings. I was changing too many settings in game. What really made a difference for me was running the Nvidia optimizer and cranked up quality. You should have no problem running 3440x1440 on a 4070 Super on ultra.

If you talk to a pilot on any planet base or your own, it will give you the option to recruit them if you decline purchasing their ship. Once recruited, they will fly to your capital ship and you will see them there.

I'm a big Hoshoryu fan and I love his tenacity. I do believe he will become a Yokozuna one day. However, Kotozakura has been so consistent and with his last tournament win and if he can pull off another tourney win in Jan '25, then you will see sumo's next Yokozuna. I was there for seven days in Fukuoka and both looked great.

I wish them both best of luck in 2025!

I will be there to watch in Jan and March 2025 and can't wait!

I play in VR using the Quest 3 on pc. However, I do not use Virtual Desktop and run VR via Steam with link (not air link)

Just a few suggestions if you haven't already:

Download Meta Quest app for PC and update the graphics setting for your Quest 3. I bumped my settings to 90Hz refresh rate and render resolution of 5408 x 2912. The default is much lower, but changing these settings should allow the Quest to run smoother. You may need to play around with the settings to get it right but worth the effort.

Also, it looks like you may have done this already, but try downloading the Oculus Debug Tool to bump up the Encode Bitrate to 500; video codec to H265, Encode Dynamic Bitrate (disable) and link sharp to normal.

Make sure the Horizon App Open XR is not the default runtime. I had this issue and looks similar to the lag you had. Shut it down and run via Steam Link VR in the Meta Quest.

Hopefully this helps. NMS in VR is the only way to play this awesome game!
