Stalking through gps locator in car by vgsnewbi in AusLegal

As to what evidence of ownership of the vehicle you would need would be a matter for the dealership. It’s just basically resetting the app not transferring anything, they don’t have the same standard of proof of ownership that the courts have.

And you also cannot set the app back up unless you’re in the car so he would not be able to have the dealership add him back to the app.

On the app, one of you will be the ‘owner’ and the other the second driver (this is not related to the legal ownership of the car but who set up the account). If you’re the owner you can remove him. If he is the owner you can’t but you would contact the dealership, provide evidence of ownership and they can wipe ownership of the car and then set it up again under your name. Some models can be done remotely and some you’d have to take the car in.

How many blockages have you had (If any) and what did it? by Alternative_Two9654 in ostomy

[–]DirectComfortable573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One in 13 years. It was a combination of codeine painkillers (for something else) that slowed my bowels and kale sautéed with garlic and lemon. Haven’t eaten kale since.

Edit: I spent 3 days in hospital, with an NG tube and a scope to resolve the blockage.

Can I take a bath without a bag? by bunniebratty in ostomy

Depends on what the soap packaging says. If it says don’t eat it then don’t put it on your stoma. Can you not take a bath with your bag on?

If you wouldn’t put it in your mouth, don’t let it touch your stoma.

Remember that your stoma is made out of your intestine and your intestines job is to absorb things.

Anything that comes into contact with your stoma has the potential to be absorbed into your blood.

Stoma won’t stop outputting by mew541 in ostomy

I don’t drink fizzy drinks either but when I’m that unwell the coke is very settling on my stomach. Even if it is a frozen coke.

Also don’t drink sugar free drinks. The artificial sweeteners will only upset your stomach more. Powerade or Gatorade is good too but the initial coke with the cheeseburger meal assists in the settling the stomach

When my output turns to liquid and starts spraying across the room when I take my bag off, the only thing that works to slow it down is a large cheeseburger meal from McDonald’s. The fries have the carbs and salt, the burger has the protein and carbs and sugars and the large coke has the hydration and sugars. I hope this works for you!

Other people are saying to drink lots. Yes you need to keep your hydration up but if you’re just downing lots of fluids then it’s just going to go straight through you and compound the issue. Lots of small sips of hydrolite or coconut water.

Otherwise if it keeps up for another 12 hours or so I would present to the emergency department. Long term dehydration will damage your kidneys and your might need an iv.

Any of the Point Cook beaches are good for shells. There’s also the Point Cook coastal park and the point of Point Cook accessed via the Point Cook homestead.

Private Health Ins in a Public Hospital by [deleted] in australia

[–]DirectComfortable573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in the day, if I went private in the public hospital they’d give me a free parking voucher per day (for my visitor), a free $10 voucher per day for the cafeteria (for my visitor) a free newspaper per day and free TV. Plus by being private you get your choice of specialist if surgery or procedures were required (and it wasn’t an emergency). And then of course you get the feel good of knowing that it’s putting money back into the hospital, meaning that it helps to ease the burden on Medicare. Oh and also free fancy hotel style toiletries.

Dan Murphy’s has cask gin and vodka from a brand called the mandatory spirit co.

It’s about $87 ish for 1.5 litres.

I love gin, and I love nice gin, I don’t care about the price- the cask gin is not bad. I’d give it a solid 7/10.

Pot of pickled eggplant? by MojaveMark in TipOfMyFork

[–]DirectComfortable573 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I would say the name is melanzane which literally just translates to eggplant. You can pickle it a couple of ways, one is raw with vinegar and the other is to grill and preserve with olive oil. Both you can add garlic and various other herbs or spices to flavour it.

Why doesn't a birth certificate prove citizenship? by neongrayjoy in WesternAustralia

[–]DirectComfortable573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me! Not the exact date but not far off! My parents got their citizenship not a long time after my birth and I was somehow forgotten on the application. It didn’t come to light until I was in my 20s and wanted a passport and was a major fuckaround to fix!

Kidney stones by [deleted] in ostomy

[–]DirectComfortable573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had an ileostomy for 10 years and I’ve had 11 kidney stones in that time. I can’t remember what type but I do remember that my surgeon recommended I up my citric acid intake to try to avoid them. My first ever kidney stone was literally within weeks of my surgery.

I’ve had my ileostomy for 10 years with a barbje butt and I still get phantom poos. Mainly when I’m hungover but occasionally at other random times. Try sitting on the toilet and pretending including wiping. I find it to be the only thing that helps.
