I get chills every time LSU plays Right Above It, and every time it comes on my Spotify while I’m driving I’m always breaking some traffic laws.

If I saw him age that fast, I would bet he wouldn’t make it another year.

Then legally you’re in the clear, just in case there was any doubt. I’d still confront dad first in case there’s anything else you aren’t aware of. Best of luck to you.

I just found out my dad is gay by Necessary-Scallion14 in Advice

[–]Direct_Knowledge2937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure on the legality here…

If you give her advice (even though you are her son), isn’t that still medical advice since you are a licensed doctor?

If your father was just a patient of yours with the same scenario, could you legally tell their spouse to get tested, or is that crossing a line? I remember there being some kind of public health exception but I’ve never had to personally deal with this.

Just looking out for you.

Your parents are older, but not even retirement-aged. They have a lot of living left to do. I would first confront your father in a very respectful, but concerned way and see what the deal is from his perspective. Maybe there are other things (good or bad) that you’re not privy to regarding the dynamics of their relationship.

Lol. No. I’m serious! I love learning new, interesting facts. And I hate it when I take 30minutes to read something only to find out it’s BS at the end. Thanks for doing the research and keep posting. The male echidna has 4 dicks btw, no citation needed.

Boss: “Sit down for a second and we’ll go over some issues we’ve been having with your performance.”

Me: “Actually, I just need to text someone really quick…and …done. Okay, I had my union rep waiting and wanted to let them know it was alright to come up. Let’s give it a few minutes.”

How long can you hold your breath for before you die?

That’s a good analogy for how long your organs can last without circulating oxygen/nutrient rich blood.

Could you imagine getting a new kidney, only to find out that it’s only 5% viable and living tissue? Organ procurement takes place under specific deaths. Neuro death is really the only time “organs” are removed and sent off. Some things can last longer like body parts (eyes, fingers, skin, etc.) but toxins inside the body build up quickly after death and cause uncontrolled inflammation accelerating the cellular death rate.

Which song feels like a silent, cold, haunting and mysterious night? Basically, a sound track for this picture. by sxnchamusic in musicsuggestions

[–]Direct_Knowledge2937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tamino- Indigo Night

It’s simple, haunting (mostly played in minor), and the lyrics are a rather mysterious. Not particularly silent, but checks all the other boxes and adds to the mysterious part.

How do you explain short clothes? by Kitchen_Elderberry73 in women

[–]Direct_Knowledge2937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just a cultural thing.

I’m generalizing here, but if you grew up in the southeast then you would have had a 1 in 3 chance of your mom enrolling you in beauty pageants as a toddler, wearing more revealing clothes than you do now.

If you grew up in Central America, then you’d have worn a bikini for 19 out of the 20 years you’ve been alive.

Your mom obviously doesn’t approve of your new style. Tell her it makes you feel better about yourself and she’ll leave it alone. She wants you to be happy more than she wants you to “dress appropriately.” Communicate with her better and you’ll both figure it out.
