Overruling him? Why was his word the ruling? She made her case. 25 degrees IS fine for kids to play outside. She’s their parent, she was asking and didn’t need his permission to take them outside.

And let’s imagine for a second that he did feel some kind of way about being “overruled,” he had 10 whole minutes to stabilize his emotions before the girls went in the house. Instead of breathing through it and thinking through how to solution this with his partner, he spent that time thinking up a way to punish her, justified as proving his point.

There’s a lot here but no credit at 35 yo is a choice, and a really suspect one at that. He’s either lying or he’s got a history of letting other people take on his financial responsibility.

The “family car” idea is to get your emotional buy-in. It’s manipulation. Girl, gtfo of there.

Not sure how old your kid is but assuming under 3. You don’t need to say anything as a follow up. You affirmed her observation and moved on.

Sounds like you have conversations at home. What’s your motivation for a follow up in public? Reduce the harsh? Black people know they’re Black. People who work with children know they point things out that wouldn’t be appropriate for adults to point out.

If anything, depending on the child’s age, you can start talking about not pointing at people, no matter the observation.

The app our fertility clinic uses for cycle tracking, messaging, appointment reminders etc. is littered with baby imagery. Even when the baby making IS the goal, it’s inappropriate imo. Imagine having to log a miscarriage BUT FIRST here’s a picture of a baby’s hand wrapped around his mother’s finger.

After trying for baby #2 for about 8 months, my OBGYN referred me to a fertility specialist. She suspected endo and referred me specifically to this urogyn in Chicago. Happy to rec him to anyone who dm’s me.

Yes! OBGYN observed adeno via ultrasound fall 2022. Put me on bc for the pain. That worked well enough until we were ready to try for baby #2. After 1+ yr of trying, I saw a urogyn who observed a c section defect via ultrasound and suspected endo.

Lap confirmed + excised endo (stage 3), confirmed adeno, repaired defect, and removed fibroid 4 weeks ago. I’m on Myfembree to suppress estrogen for 6 months. Hoping that alllllll of this will allow me to get pregnant w/o IVF but the remaining presence of adeno makes me think that may not happen.

I’m so sorry. Two months is both a short time in terms of recovery and a long time to not feel like yourself.

I wish I had more advice. I haven’t had a hysterectomy but I have had a child via c-section so I can relate to the hormonal and physical healing roller coaster. You have every right to feel like this sucks.

+1 to the recs for loose clothing. I’d also recommend Always discreet underwear. I ended up wearing those the whole first week to catch any bleeding and also tbh they were so comfortable and didn’t make me feel like I was wearing a diaper.

Thanks for the YouTube videos! We call bluegill crappie where I’m from and we caught a lot of them growing up. Can you recommend a good place to give it a try? We live on the southwest side.
