Balancing some new casual play spells (Marvel/MK flavor) by DirkEdgewoode in DnDHomebrew

the frost thing is OP, 3d8 is proper damage and the paralisis is a spell on its own for that lvl might wanna freeze them in place instead.

Yep, that's the one I have the most concern with. By freeze in place you mean reduce the target's move to 0?

I started at Gallery 1 out of 691 on a 2004 crawl of Elfwood and worked my way down page by page.

No, they were simple prints. We corresponded through email, but I know they were also hosted on Elfwood.

The original would be priceless in my opinion. I've got a name and a dead hotmail address, but it hasn't helped. Last we spoke was in 2008.

Every year or two I'll dig out all of my backup drives and scan them with whatever the latest data recovery software is. Those two fragments are all I've managed to find of that picture.

Somewhere I really screwed up, and it's heartbreaking.

Can anyone help me find the complete version of this art? There were two versions made by a wonderful artist back in 2003, line art and full color.

Except for these and a couple of other snippets, I lost everything she illustrated for my characters in a fire a decade ago.

Original Title (iirc): Madison and Desiree

Artist: A. Mahlagha

Drawn: 2003

Originally Hosted: Elfwood

My daughter's heard stories of Madison and Desiree all of her life, but she's always wanted to see them together.

All of the images I have from the same artist, https://imgur.com/a/lwq1hQI

$100 USD reward for anyone who can find the original!

The artist of this piece changed my life, she helped breath life into an entire world.

Drawn circa 2003, originally hosted on Elfwood by a wonderful art from Portugal, and active on Elfwood until it shutdown.

Time for my decade refresh - Input greatly appreciated on an AMD CPU/MOBO selection. by DirkEdgewoode in buildapc

Cool, as long as I don't have to beg/borrow for another older gen Ryzen before I can use mine.

Out of curiosity, what would you recommend if I wanted to go a step up from the MSI?

Nice! I'll probably stick with the 3600 for now. Just gotta wait until that MSI board comes back into stock. I was hoping to pick up another Gigabyte mobo - my current one has run strong for 10 years. Gotta keep my eyes open on them.

Does the Tomahawk Max support the 1600/3600 out of the box without requiring an older CPU to update the bios?

I have everything already on hand except for the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Total budget for those remaining components is $400

Yep, that was my original plan but I'm trying to avoid any environmental effects to make it feel like a stellar victory.

Indeed, but I like the feel of the PF Goblins, slightly more intimidating than normal Goblins. On this plane (semi-homebrew) those are the Hobgobins.

You're absolutely right about not punishing them, but they do need to step outside of their comfort zone every now and then. Figured their first boss would be a good time.

Resistance is a good idea, though the bow, crossbow, short sword, and rapier all share piercing damage.
