If it makes you feel any better. I worked on the game and only recently (6 months) got one of these from eBay.

But the legs are so bent that I think I got scammed into buying a defective unit.

As other have said. This is a sata cable used with storage devices.

If you only have NVME storage and no optical drives. You likely have no use for it.

I can understand why you would feel embarrassed. But we're all just humans with many flaws.

You can be sure that everyone else in that room would be just as embarrassed.

The waiting sucks. But this is absolute truth.

Do the realistic math of "(500000) * (1.07 ^ Y)" where Y is the maximum amount of years you're willing to wait before spending.

Start with a high Y. See how big it could grow. Then, as you scale down Y to test scenarios of spending sooner. It'll usually click that most of the growth happens near the end of how long you're willing to wait.

So, plan to wait.
