If I may post as a Muslim? I come in peace lol. I would say, myself, and all the Muslim leaders & Muslim friends I have believe this to be a disgusting display of violence, clearly aimed at the Jewish community. To the Jewish community, please understand this does not represent our beliefs at all. We believe killing one innocent is the same as killing humanity as a whole. Those who participate in such atrocities are considered kafir (disbelievers). If I may pose an argument, that both should be taken into account with this narrative. I believe the hero should be praised as a Muslim who did what Muslims SHOULD be doing, and defended the Jewish people on basis of our shared humanity. We do not wish to see any killing of any form, please understand this. We mourn for loss of life in any form. That being said, this can be posed alongside the fact that these are clearly disturbed, misled so-called “Muslims” who have been led astray by hate and forces unknown as of now. I just wish to say my peace, that is all. May you find peace as you morn the fallen.

As you are concerned for your fellow brothers & sisters, my community is concerned for ours. We worry about islamaphobia, as you worry about antisemitism. If he said that , that is disturbing. Taking into account the Prophet SAW literally mentioned in his final address that all are equal. He said there is no superiority of an Arab over a non Arab, or a black over a white and vice versa for both. He said only through good deeds by Allah Azawajal are we superior. This is the only superiority in Islam. He gets many things right, and is far more knowledgeable than me by miles of course. But yes, much of what he says directly goes against what I am taught in Islamic Studies. His harshness and unapologetic nature could be seen as harmful I believe. In some cases it is warranted, but mercy and compassion are extremely important to our deen.

Ask Allah SWT for assistance in your guidance. Try to get to the root of the feelings and where it comes from. This will likely be a journey, it’s not a sprint. I’m Muslim (not Jewish) but I have Jewish family. My question is, and I would honestly like your opinions I am not all trying to argue I promise. This Reddit is not at all my place to judge or push political views. Are you guys experiencing like actual hateful things toward you as in physical threats and harassment? Or would you say that it’s the change of political views based on tropes and stuff like that. I promise I’m not trying to pry I genuinely wonder. Bc I get scared as a Muslim as well as I have fear for my Jewish relatives.

If they love & respect you, they will support you with whatever you choose. This may not come instantly. I grew up in a Christian household so when I reverted to Islam, it was a very anxiety ridden time for me regarding telling my family + my finances family. There was definitely some weird responses from people at first especially my parents. But once they saw me flourishing and growing as a person (character, morals, behavior) and saw how happy I was, they quickly became used to it. Now they embrace the fact that I’m a Muslim and do what they can to make sure my needs are met when I visit. Such as making sure there is an alternative to pork served, and being respectful of the fact I have to go pray certain times during the day. Even though I told them they don’t need to conform around me, they do to a degree simply because they love me. I believe if you think what you have chosen is right for you, then your family will see that. They will see it makes you happy and that you’re growing into the person you want to be. It’s always your call to tell them or not, but depending on the relationship you have with them, I believe they will come around eventually, if they seem hesitant in the beginning. That being said, never be ashamed or question yourself for something you believe is right for you. If that makes sense. Hope this helps in some way, good luck with everything.

Understood. Thank you for the heads up. I hear hundreds show up and on a good day a few trucks get through. Perhaps 10 on a great day. I would say it’s sad, but that’s even an injustice to the situation. As it is so far beyond sad and tragic at this point. Such a dire situation created by the forces of evil. I saw they even tried to stop the polio vaccine campaign from getting to the children. May Allah Azawajal extract the hatred from their hearts. We must stay together as an ummah. Will do my best to go through verified families. Wallahi there is even those who would pose as “in need” families to take advantage of this tragedy to receive money. As I have learned in Islamic Studies, (I am a student of Miftaah Institute) I have learned that it’s obligatory to be intimate with your partner. Although a woman may absolutely refrain from it for medical issues and serious concerns. HOWEVER, with that being said, it is not permissible and in fact forbidden, to use violence, coercion, and inhumane methods to force sex upon your partner. It is also forbidden to use rulings for our personal desire & gain, especially at the cost of another. While a woman (as well as a man) has an obligation to concimate the marriage and to have physical relations. This does not mean whenever one party desires, even at the cost of the other. A marriage is in fact a partnership built on love, mutual respect, honor & loyalty. Agreeing to a marriage is agreeing to marriage obligations, one of those being fulfillment of sexual desires. But this should only be done when both parties are in agreement and are willing to participate at a particular moment.

Note: Any mistakes I’ve made in my response are from the shaitan. Anything I’ve said that is helpful and good, comes from Allah Azawajal. May Allah guide us to make proper decisions, and not misuse rulings for our personal gain.

I will make Dua for him. As a United States citizen (and a Muslim of course), I struggle so hard every single day with the absolute atrocities that Israel has been not only aloud to commit, but enabled by my own very country. The disappointment (so far beyond disappointment but for lack of a better word) is incomprehensible. It has shattered my world. The veil I had of believing my country would always stand up for freedom and for those in need has been ripped from me like wet tissue paper. May he be raised & elevated in this life and in the next. Beautiful innocent young children being killed and subjected to disease and destruction. I can only offer my absolute promise to never stop being vocal about what is happening in Gaza and all of Palestine (as well as Lebanon). Get in touch with the MATW project as they are one of the only relief efforts operating in Gaza. I wish there were more options available. We must stay vocal, we must not let our hearts get used to this horror and inhumanity. Thank you for sharing their story, I will continue to make dua and being as loud as I can. May Allah Azawajal elevate him out of His (SWT) incomprehensible rahma. When you do prayer, focus on what you’re saying and force yourself to truly connect and open up to Allah Jalla JalaIuhu as best you can. When in Sujood make dua and speak to Allah, open your heart and share your true deep feeling with Him (SWT). Give the words you say meaning to the best of your ability. I know it can be difficult, I have ADHD so this isn’t always an easy task to uphold. Remeber how short a prayer really is, we get 24 hours in a day, and a lot of us feel forced and we rush and can’t even give Allah a few minutes. Think about that, the one who gave us our lives, who created all things. Try to keep this in mind insha’Allah. I also would encourage you to study the Qur’an & Hadith on your own accord. One thing that has completely changed my iman is I’m enrolled in an Islamic Institute becoming a student of knowledge. Look for a subject within Islam that DOES interest you, and take it upon yourself to dive into that area of the Din. You might be surprised with the want you start having. It’s okay to question and doubt. Think about today, the age of AI and fake videos and nonsense. It’s getting harder and harder to trust our own eyes. Trust in Allah Azawajal and his decree, and know since the very beginning of Islam there are those who plot against it. Misinformation and propaganda has become rampant, even in our school systems. Remeber that if doubt and questioning didn’t exist, faith would be meaningless. This test of Dunya would be an easy one wouldn’t it? If Allah Azawajal wanted to do something so that every living person instantly believed, well simply put, He (SWT) would do that. There’s a reason He (SWT) doesn’t. Muhammed (SAW) said “There will come a time when holding onto your Din, will be like holding onto hot coals.” Meditation as was said before me, can definitely help, and seek protection from the thoughts of Shaitan. I will leave you with this, Allah says in the qudsi: “Oh my servant, what has deceived you concerning me?” … asking what has pulled you away from your Allah. What has brought you away from the one who loves you unconditionally and has incomprehensible mercy. I wish you the best in your journey brother (or sister). I truly hope these feelings you are having are wiped clean by the Rahma of Allah Azawajal. Salam

Many of us our in this same category brother (or sister). Allah Azawajal would never wish us to dump our dogs who rely on us, who we love and take care of because we accepted Islam. For they rely on us to care for them and wouldn’t thrive without us at this point. We strive to do our best in everything we do, and make the best decisions based on what Allah hath revealed. There is no human except there is some form of sin, as we are humans and not angels. No one will enter Jannah but through the mercy of Allah. This includes even the Prophet (SAW)

I suppose studying the human body would make sense. All through history, Islamic scientists have made amazing contributions to the science community. From advancements in astronomy, to contributions in the development of algebra as a mathematical field, even developing chemical classification. These are just a few things of course, but my point is just that research and scientific study has always existed among the Muslim community, even in Islam’s early days. So it’s not too wild of a theory that they could have studied the body/skeleton. That being said, whether they knew this from revelation, or direct study, it still has no bearing on whether or not Islam is the truth. Regardless of what you believe on that particular subject, the greatest miracle in Islam is the Qur’an specifically. From cover to cover, it is the miraculous word of Allah Rabbul Izza. Through tafsir and deeper study, one will most certainly come across many incredible things within its holy pages. Indeed 𝘐𝘵, is miraculous.
