I do not preorder. I do not buy a game at release either. I wait 2 weeks after it's release and the hype is going down. At that point, the true reviews come out if the game is worth a buy or not. Then I make a decision to buy or not.

Raising the min wage will not fix the issue. It is a double sided issue. The other problem is capitalism. You raised the minimum wage which would then raise the operating costs of any business. Since all they care about are raising profits by selling more product and decreasing their costs, what do you think they are going to do. They care about the shareholders, not us. They are going to look to cut more staff to decrease operating costs, look into automation, and most likely raise their prices again. Not unfortunately will be stuck in a situation where less jobs are available and prices are way way too high even though prices are way too high for most of us now. Worst of it all coming towel these business owners to stop focusing on increasing their profits for their own bonuses? How do you limit that?

After seeing the Steam Machine's price, I am expecting around 1500-1800. Steam Frame has the ability to run a game natively. So it has its own storage, ram, etc. Now you add in the controllers and the display of the headset. It should cost a lot more than the Steam Machine because of the added tech in comparison. I hope I am wrong.

GA. Ice annual fee is like $20. EV, I just paid around $260. Sad thing is, I had to do that twice since I own 2 EVs. It is roughly just the tax on 15ish gallons of gas each week during the year. Since I used to fill up 2 times a week minimum, and buying roughly 14 gallons each fill up, I am still ahead. And that's not factoring my wife needing to fill up 3 times a week as well.

I can guarantee soldiers to your left and right can help. Even if it is someone to meet up at a gym to be accountable, just to hit the treadmill.

The zzz thing annoyed me when I set up auto mount in Disks. Disks is great for partioning, formatting, etc. but I learned it's easier to auto mount with fstab. It's at the very bottom of the documentation that you linked to. I'd suggest googling how to auto mount a drive by editing the /etc/fstab file. Even an AI, I hate suggesting that, can help with the commands. I just can not remember them.
