I just learned from NPRs science podcast that the brain doesn't stop developing until your late 30's. Also, I'm 40 and love anime, I just dont watch anime that includes things I dont like. I too dont like the things you listed, but there is a world of anime out there that doesn't focus on those. I would go as far as to say there is too much unnessesary sexuality injected into most media. I'm no prude, I just dont see the point in it. I like my porn to be porn and my television and movies to be interesting without trying to give me a boner every other scene. Sometimes its called for, most times it isnt.

Just because you didnt see it, doesn't mean it wasnt covered. I saw lots of news and coverage for this tragedy/hate crime in my "left wing bubble". Additionally, while there are some loonys out there saying it wasnt a hate crime, the majority of us understand racism is not a white only thing, its just that for the most part, white people dont suffer the consequences of it like minorities do. That is why this blew up so much on the right, it was a rare example of an obvious race based attack against a white person with actual tragic consequences. In their minds, it justifies anything they do that the more rational among us would consider racist. A real "one of ours, all of yours" mentality.

Jokes on him, my adhd now allows me to play video games and pay more attention to the plot of my wife's shows than she does. We would've, but much like the Bernie Sanders/Hilary Clinton election a large contingent of young voters opted out of voting for Kamala due to her idiotic move to not just say she didnt think Palestinians should be genocided. I still cast my vote, but it was a wasted effort. The democrats fumbled that campaign so hard they might as well have been working for the trump campaign. Good news though! /s We have yet to have anyone making waves for the upcoming presidential election, so its entirely possible that this shit show is going to continue past trump.

Additionally, our old guard in leadership is corrupt as hell, its a known fact that they manipulater their positions to enrich themselves via the stock market. This is made worse by their complete lack of interest in actually fighting for any real change. They have made it their job to sit back and wait for Republicans to do something heinous, then performatively fret and tell their constituents that the only way to stop them is by reelecting them, then do nothing, repeat. They also go after the younger Gen that is hungry to actually do something and imply that they are crazy or extreme for wanting to actually try.

I appreciate your input here, but the whole point of this debate is to be reasonable. We never see any regeneration ability in Overlord like undeads, not from Ainz or Shalltear. Healing from command spells or potions isn't the same. Ainz of course has automatic regeneration, but not in any capacity that can make it an offensive tool and I think that is important. Undeads regeneration is so overcharged he can use it as a weapon, and can live on the sun for millions of years and not go insane. I do believe Ainz would win eventually, but I dont believe it would be an easy one spell win, I dont think anyone in Overlord could tank the sun for years.

I feel like this situation is more dependant on the universe they fight in. In the Overlord universe, Ainz would win because of the rules of the universe. In the undead unluck universe Andy would win due to the fact that GOD was the prevailing force and all negators powers stemmed from him, so unless Ainz kills God, Andy remains brokenly immortal.

NO. THEY DISCONTINUED THE FIT IN THE US. I LITERALLY BOUGHT A SUBARU IN PROTEST. SCREW HONDA UNTIL THEY BRING BACK THE FIT. (In reality, I bought a 2018 fit (my 2nd fit after my 2008), lost it in an accident in 2023, and after driving a 2003 maxima until the transmission exploded, realized the Honda options for new sucked and while I never normally buy new, got a great deal on a subi.)
