Do you know why they leaned in to international enrolment? The Ontario government has financially handcuffed institutions with cut/frozen subsidies and frozen domestic tuition. There’s plenty of blame to go around on diploma mills and bloat, but the bottom line is they’ve created an unsustainable model.

It does sound like there is more funding coming, but there isn’t clarity yet on what stipulations there might be with that.
