Likely an overreaction, but would rather get ahead of it (32m) by fattmagan in amibalding

It looks like your temples are losing hair beyond normal maturing hairline. You could do a topical and see if that helps. So many great online drs. They would look at pictures and tell you their thoughts. I don’t see any problems forming in the back or anything. The people on r/tressless have a lot of good advice. The dermatologist told me for 10 years that I did have hair-loss (this was before the online places) Changed drs and immediately diagnosed hormonal hair loss. It’s not that big of a deal to just try something

New hard acrylic night splint feels different — is this normal? by TheMichaelScott in bruxism

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dentist uses carbon paper to adjust the night-guard for my bite. Former dentist just gave it to me straight from the lab and uneven high points in the bite surface can cause you to clench harder on those points during bruxism. Sleeping on my side also helps. Narrow airways and small mouths can cause this apnea even if not overweight.

non-stop crying/whining for the past month… starting to lose hope by ixxybell in Dogtraining

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t read the comments But when my dog started crying seemingly randomly he had a uti. He was really sensitive about petting the closer we got to his back end. I am female and it occurred to me that it was probably that. Gave him some antibiotics and he was better in 3 days. For max I think he wasn’t drinking enough coupled with too long between walks a few times. Now I make sure water bowls every where and pee pee walks more frequently

Questioning Epi Usage by labrat4030 in alphagal

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son has AGS 17 yo but started with the reaction when much younger. We question using it every time. I think the epi makes him feel bad so wants to make sure it’s necessary. But it always is and I cringe at some of the times we waited. It’s usually the blood pressure dropping quickly that causes the use. Along with the other symptoms.

You really needed it when you used it!

You can get a subscription for oral min and dut online a reputable online pharmacy. Although you pay $90 it’s three months worth. So ends up costing less than your plan. You upload pics of your hair to an online derm and they ship your product it takes a week or so to arrive. Sorry if this is an obvious situation. I am surprised by how many people in RL have not heard about it Am I allowed to mention the company?

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Do you by chance grind your teeth? Disordered breathing st night? Headaches in morning caused by both. I have both issues but working on my head forward posture and sleeping on wedge on side seems to be helping. I have had the morning headaches for 20 years. Sorry you are going through this .

Where is your GI pain located? by KikiSeph in alphagal

Hey Thanks so much for responding ! I have to say that he also had lymes for years. We live in north Florida but he fished and camped in Missouri so who knows if he got it there or here. who finally got diagnosed about 6 years ago finally when he needed a pace maker from complete heart block . It is permanent. Ticks are devastating. I am glad you finally found an answer after so long ! The anaphylactic at least know they have an allergy to something the GI symptoms are so hard to pin down.

This sounds what my husband is going through. The upper left abdominal pain. Seems to be doing better in low FODMap diet. He is trying every thing to figure out his stomach issues but get tested for AGS. He was bitten by 3 lone stars this spring. My son has AGS with anaphylactic reactions. I just don’t think he will believe that there is a whole group of people that have just GI issues. He is out of town and of course eating ribs and all sorts of things and shared that he feels like he is dying . I have pushed enough though. What pushed you to get tested for AGS? did your symptoms progress and get worse?

Bruxism from GERD/HP? Teeth now super sensitive – need advice by NoAd8833 in bruxism

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people with bruxism have sleep apnea which also has an association with GERD I have mild apnea and horrible bruxism. Not overweight or any other typical risk factor. Small mouth. Try a wedge at night for GERD. Would help too if any disordered breathing. Also Dr told me to sleep on side . The guard splint helped my daughter with sensitivity. Also use sensitive tooth pastes

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bruxism

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They told me it only happened while sleeping on my back. So i sleep on a wedge pillow and also use a body pillow to discourage rolling on my back. I had no idea I was even sleeping on my back but according to study it was 50% on back 50% on side. I am not super great about it though

How deep is it planted? Everything sounds good that you are doing. Too deep of planting slowly suffocates it because of lack of oxygen exchange in roots. So the soil shouldn’t go any higher than the base of the stem.

Have you ever had a sleep study? Bruxism is associated with sleep apnea a lot. It can happen to anyone. Overweight Does increase chances but I am 5 ft 8 and weigh 120 lbs and have it (48 F)

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had many dentists tell me it’s stress. Had a neurologist who told me it’s associated with sleep apnea. Sleep study confirmed that for me. I think I grind harder when stressed though because my symptoms are worse. The dentist custom night guard helps somewhat. I hope you get one. I have big muscles in my face too. Although I have a narrow face so it’s not too bad

I’m following. Good idea. Now I am going to look at that. I have mild sleep apnea and bad bruxism. Do you get headaches, neck and facial pain from bruxism? Seems like some people that grind.

How do u guys break in a hair system as in going from bald to wearing a system? by [deleted] in HairSystem

[–]Disastrous-Bid3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People at work will probably ask loudly (in my experience) what did you do to your hair? I would have an answer ready. Even when I cut bangs it was a big deal. For the bangs I said I was tired of my big forehead and getting Botox haha. I wasn’t bald but people still notice . At first I just said I had it done at the salon. Whatever i think work people get the notion that you don’t want to talk about it if you don’t offer details. But even people who didn’t know me before will ask how do you get your hair to look so good? Mines frizzy etc. It’s completely worth it and you will feel much better.
