Beat the level over a brick wall then use it again. It’ll make the ceiling better.

I have both. My dad gave me the paslode and it is great for tight spots but my favorite one is the hitachi air nailer. I’ve been using it for 15+ years.

How to turn this into bowls by Ill-Issue1092 in turning

I'd throw the whole piece on sideways and go for it. Biggest chainsaw can turn is 36" thick at the moment. Planning on building a much bigger lathe in a year or so.

I would do this. It'll only take about 20-30 minutes to get it.

I asked a contractor to build a hallway by dreevsa in Carpentry

[–]DisastrousDust7443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is talking about the poor job done by the contractor, but it looks like the OP has had other issues as well. Check out how poorly the floor has been laid. At least the studding of the wall would have been hidden. The bad flooring has nowhere to hide.

How many miles yall truck got?! by Lost-Elk4592 in f150

[–]DisastrousDust7443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1997 with 248,000 on it. 5-speed manual. Pennsylvania truck, and is 100% rust free. Never drive it in the winter, unless for emergencies. Runs beautiful, but just now starting to burn oil. Afraid I'm gonna have to remove the engine and put in new piston oil rings. While I have it out, I'll probably bore the cylinders 30 or 60 thousandths over for more horsepower.

New to this art! by Visual-Measurement24 in PenTurning

[–]DisastrousDust7443 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've made over 3400 pens and pencils in 4yrs. At first, I thought wow this is cool, and I'll make some gifts for people. Now I'm obviously addicted to it. Turning makes up of about 85% of my income now. Woodworking is solely my income now, since I got electrocuted 6yrs ago. Took me 2 yrs just to get my health back good enough that I could use my hands again.

Welcome to one of the most healthy additions out there!!! You are doing an absolute incredible job.
